that is not even a bad idea actually. if someone making more money trading than his regular job and focusing on bitcoin is a viable option. but it takes consideration for the risks it poses by leaving regular job. the safest option of getting paid in BTC for part time and staying in regular job

We all are aware of the fact that Bitcoin is extremely volatile but it is advantageous in my views. Count me in when it comes to leaving my full-time 9-to-5 job as I have already left a reputed company and focused on my gambling skills as well as saved a good amount of Bitcoins, which I know that it will let me and my family survive smoothly the whole life. Risk is the only thing you should take if you are expecting to get rewarded with your decision. Some believe that staying in a job is a better option but I believe that those guys must be too daring to leave it and take such a decision which has an uncertain future, but their belief proved they were right in their decision.

Full time job is the best to fund yourself. Bitcoin is more like an investment vehicle. So unless bitcoin and the other crypto currencies are able to provide you passive income or funds greater than 30 years of your annual salary, it is always good to have your job to continue to inject your more cash so you can increase your blockfoilo for growth. There are also now more and more POS coins and these can be seen as great dividend/passive incomes for holders.

Well for me, I won't advice any one to fully leave their full time business for Bitcoin. Reason is because Bitcoin is not a get rich quick business, it needs learning and mastery. It is best to combine it with your work then if you feel you have learnt and saved enough, then you can leave your work for it fully.
As far as Bitcoin lives on, I wouldn’t say it’s a bad decision. Maybe bitcoin was the right choice, you can’t tell. It might be that they are earning lots and lots of money that makes their regular job income seem like nothing when compared to that of Bitcoin.

I was talking to a friend the other day and he told me that two of his friends has left their full-time employment to concentrate on their Bitcoin ventures. < One in Crypto currency trading and the other into imports & exports, linked to ecommerce >

In light of the fact that Bitcoin is still experimental and very volatile, would you say that this was a good or a bad decision and would you do the same?

How many people have done this already?

I think leaving a full time employment in exchange of going to bitcoin is not a good idea. It is better that you have regular job and then make bitcoin as your part time or extra source of income. You can earn bitcoin while you are at work maybe buy some miner and let it at home. You can also do signature campaign on your free time.

Who is quitting their job now??

Want to recognize a bubble?   Just think back to '99 dotcom stocks or '07 real estate
When Floyd Mayweather and Paris Hilton are promoting ICOs that is a textbook sign of a bubble.
When people quit their jobs, en masse, to trade ICOs, that is a sign of a bubble.
When people take out loans to buy as much ICO as possible, that is a sign of a bubble.
When there are TV shows and magazine covers about ICOs, that is a sign of a bubble.
When the shoeshine boy tells you about his ICO portfolio, that is a sign of the top.

I think, people only begin to invest in bitcoin. That's why the amount of those, who desided to change their work is not big yet. People connect trading and cryptoworld with a great risk and for many of them it's like a game.

Its hard to leave full time job. These bitcoins are temporary work it can goes down. But the day job never goes down. But on the other side its not a bad idea. If you're a hard worker then the btc become a job for you. I have seen many people left the day job and now are earning double through bitcoins related jobs.

In my opinion it's a bad decision,i won't leave my job even if i can earn with bitcoin. you can still earn additional income with bitcoin and get a stable payment from your job. The income from bitcoin is not reliable, if you're lucky with your trade you can earn a lot but if there's some unforeseen circumstances like the recent news then you are in trouble.

I too am very interested in dedicating more of my time to cryptocurrency.

In the future, we will say I wish I bought bitcoin when it was X price. Or I wish I bought X coin when it was at X price etc...  Stop wishing and do it now is what I say.

Many of us here are having a fulltime job and use bitcoin as a sideline job.  I will not leave my job given the fact that my earnings from bitcoin is higher.  Of course it is still the best if we can earn more.  Having a fix or stable income plus a good earn from a sideline job.

I was one of those who left a real job. and are involved in the crypto world.
of course it is a careless speculation, but in terms of benefits and breakthrough bitcoin able to change my income and life. certainly not just relying from following a project bounty campaign.

I was one of the ladies who sought the benefits of bitcoin.
I used to work for a private company. I stopped and focused on my bitcoin engagement. this really makes me like opium. and the benefits of bitcoin investing are really unexpected.

All jobs also have the risk, we must be able to consider it, now many of people are leaving
the main job is just to get income with Bitcoin. Myself have always spent my time with Bitcoin.

This is true even having our own day stable job do have the risk on losing it too just like on bitcoin too but the advantage on having a day stable job is that we would able to last on our job if we did well on it  but the risk of stopping cant be removed its either the company bankrupted or they cut employees then for sure losing job is always there and also engaging on bitcoin is also having a risk but its our own decision if we do decide to go full time with it or not.

unless you were a wall street trader, or extremely wealthy, this would be a full retard idea. holding bitcoin for the rise is cool and all, but the amount of value needed to maintain an adult life, let alone two with kids, outstripes the growth potential bitcoin has demonstrated so far. you would need to start off with millions of dollars, and not take significant loses to your basis, in order to let bitcoin speculation be your sole source of income. if you mean working with/getting paid in cryptos, thats one thing. but you need real trading skills that just arent present in most professions, if you want to actually survive off of trading crypto. there is a lot of profit potential. but there is just as much potential, if not more, for ruin Wink

Leaving a regular job to go full time on bitcoin is just a stupid idea as you could maintain both these worlds together and make a good living, the risk is really huge as the bitcoin market is just new and anything can happen at a given time and your investments can be doubled or the price could go down as we saw in the past few days,so managing both the worlds is the best thing you can do.

I dont know how many. but this is an experience I have ever experienced.
I used to work for the company.
but now I focus only on crypto and my side business.
nothing is impossible to get something from crypto, let alone from bitcoin.
this is an experience I experienced.

I got tired of working so many hours for crap pay and so I have it up for trading. I love reading and spending time on the forum learning about different tokens and coins to profit from. It's like a game for me but a game that pays. The decentralized nature of Bitcoin allows us to work Decentralized as well. A huge bonus. The economy and the rest of the world are going through ressession. Bitcoin doesn't know the meaning of the word.
