I have literally spent the last 2 days scouring the web, watching vids and reading mile-long threads, trying to figure out why my Bitcoin Cash (BCH) balance is at Zero ('0') on my Ledger Wallet - to no avail.  Cry

BEFORE the fork happened, I had moved my BTC from Coinbase => blockchain.info for safety. I've had those BTC for a while now.

Two days ago I send them from blockchain.info => to my new ledger wallet. It took a while to get confirmed (about 30 hours) like everyone else those days   Grin

Anyhow, now I can see the BTC I own and its corresponding transaction on the Ledger Wallet Chrome app, as well as in both the BTC and BCH Ledger apps but when I look into the Main or Split sections of the BCH it's always ZERO.

I should mention that I have updated the firmware, I have deleted all the apps from the ledger then reinstalled them, I have deleted the apps from Chrome then reinstalled them, I have even reset the Nano S to factory setting and I had to re-enter the phrase which took forever.

Should I have split the BCH somewhere else before ? I have no idea what am I not doing right? At this stage any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!  Wink

You sent BTC from b.info to ledger... you didn't send BCH... BTC transactions do not have any effect of BCH network since the fork occurred.

All your BCH will still be sitting on the addresses/private keys from your b.info wallet. If you look at blockchair.com or blockdozer.com and look at  your old addresses, you should see your BCH balance.

If it is a new HD b.info wallet with the 12 word seed, you can import the seed mnemonic into ElectronCash and access your BCH.

Ok thanks it's becoming a little less foggy for me.

Yet I am still a bit confused. When I look at the BTC address on my Ledger (on blockchair) is shows zero BCH balance, but if I enter the BTC address on blockchain.info where I initially sent the BTC from, I do see my BCH balance.

My question is which address do I need to use then?  and where do I get my private key from? The Ledger Nano or Blockchain.info?

How can I import the 12 seeds from [Suspicious link removed]? or from the Ledger?

Thank you for your help guys - this is a bit technical for me but I want to make it work.

You need to import blockchain seed. Follow this tutorial https://blog.btc.com/your-bitcoin-cash-is-safe-with-btc-com-39b271da5692 to extract priv keys, than import them in any BITCOIN CASH wallet (like add bitcoin cash coin to coinomi and then import)

The address who holds your bitcoin prior and while fork is happening is the one you will used here.

May I know what BCH wallet you are using to claim your bitcoin cash? In my case I used Coinomi and the process just went around 5 minutes.

You are right - I used BTC.com and it was quite smooth.
