I think it would be great if you could pay your Taxi-drive with Bitcoin! U agree with me?
I hope that many business will accept the bitcoin as payment. I want that my country to become like Japan because in Japan 100,000 + of are now using bitcoin as payment. |

I think it is applicable to this kind of business TAXI_DRIVE, because Bitcoin mode of payment is being recognized here, only you can just make an account, there so many kind of account related to bitcoin accepting mode of payment use to pay it such as; establishment, hotel, restaurant, taxi and etc. just research in internet who will accepting mode of payment and they will entertain you promise. |

I think more real businesses that use bitcoin as a means of payment prove that bitcoin has good strength and popularity so that it is believed to be a means of payment in real business. This is one proof of bitcoin trusted by users other than as a means of payment as well as long-term investment to gain profit, and is expected to be not only a taxi that receives bitcoin but other businesses such as hotels, properties, restauants and other businesses.  |

Using bitcoin as payment method in daily transaction is not effective.
Because of it has high fee and take so much time for transfer in daily usage.
I think the transfer fee would be more increase in the future.
That is why i don't think that bitcoin will effective as main currency and payment method in daily life.
Maybe bitcoin can use as alternative payment method in transaction with large amount.

I agree that bitcoin is a great conduit for money transfers and payments but right now with fees too high, I think it is not suitable for small payments like taxi fare. If that issue is solved then I'm all for 100% for bitcoin as payment not only in taxi fares but even for general merchandise purchase.

I don't think it will work. You could take an hour long ride in a taxi and the price could fluctuate by $200 or so. Bitcoin is too volatile for small scale payments right now.

i also agree with you.but, i think payment by bitcoin in daily usage is high fee and take much time. besides the transfer fee would be increasing with time.so that,the daily transaction is not effective.

yes im agree with you i have think like your idea too, i want to pay taxi with bitcoin, i think its great for bitcoin future if taxi in my country accepting bitcoin as they payment, maybe if restaurant and hotels accept bitcoin is the best idea.. we just need our smartphone and internet access to pay the bill in the second

In my own opinion, it would be really great if we could use our bitcoin as a payment to take a ride in taxi's because if you dont have enough money in your wallet you could pay the taxi driver using your bitcoin without any problems and i hope in the near not only taxis will accept bitcoin but every stores . |

Yes, it would be great not only to pay taxi, it would be great if we could pay everything with bitcoins. It can be possible only with small fees and if taxi drivers won't force you to wait 1-2-3 confirmations for drive. BTC is like a bank account I don't think it can be useful in small payment or instant payment like as taxi bills.
And for what is it useful then? |

Yeah i agree, because you know what, that easy i think, just need a smartphone, yeah of course the Taxi Driver must have a smartphone,,in other thing the country must accepted Bitcoin and legal for sure. but till now I never heard about Taxi accept Bitcoin as payment |

That is not a new story. There is already a post in this forum pertaining to a taxi company accepting bitcoin as fees for the fare. The poster was named Xester and his post tackles about a big taxi company in Italy and Rome that accepts bitcoin payments. But we have no more updates to that and I guess it is still the only taxi company in the world that accepts bitcoin as a fare. But it would be better if those services will be extended not only in Rome and Italy but rather on other countries as well. If it happens we can expect a huge spike in bitcoins value if it will happen in a mass adoption across the globe. I was on business trip in Rome a few days ago and I looked for those 3570.it italian white taxis that supposedly accept bitcoin. I booked a ride and asked the taxi driver about bitcoin while going to my hotel. Do you know what? HE did not know anything about it! I had to instruct him about what his company is (maybe) doing. At the end of the ride I couldn't pay with btc but I had to pay him with old fashinoed fiat money. Sad......  |

I drive a taxi in Brooklyn NY and have a sign in the back saying I accept Bitcoin. Well, yesterday finally someone wanted to pay me bitcoins, we agreed on a price of .004 bitcoins but, guess what, it was going to cost him almost $6 in fees to send me $16. We had wallet settings on low fees and fees made doing the transaction unreasonable. He was using Jaxx wallet on Android phone. I was disappointed. This is a bad sign, Bitcoin is broken. He ended up paying me cash
Yes that is all,taxi industry is screaming for way of paymens for his taxi ordering apps,but btc is not best solution.Price has to much more stable also |

In addition to that, I think some transport vehicle already start to accept bitcoin and I do believe that all transport vehicle will accept bitcoin as a payment of their passenger. |

A very smart idea, I also hope to pay but with bitcoin, it sounds very easy and fun I'm sure many who need bitcoin to pay taxis and other necessities, will definitely have an impact on the rise in bitcoin prices |

BTC doesn't fit for small payments today
The fees are too high currently and the confirmation can take hours.
yes for now it may not be able because of too high fee, but he was wondering if that happened would be a good thing, maybe for now only able for a fairly expensive transportation like a private jet or yacht. |
