Hoping for Bitcoin to drop

I too believe that current levels are a bit on the higher side, but that doesn't mean the market will really start to come down as result. As long as people are buying up the price after a dump, we'll stay at current levels longer.

Other than that, people have had enough time and opportunities to buy themselves as many coins as possible at levels way below what we are at today, but still they managed to screw up these opportunities.

If you really look to wait for the price to go down before you start buying, then just keep waiting ~ one way or another, the price will go down as I don't believe the market can sustain currant levels for much longer.

I think the price will not drop until $3k its really a small price for bitcoin and there is possibility that the price can be increase more this coming months.

The bad news is it wont be dropping until 3000$ anymore, the circulating amount is high so it got a very low chance bitcoin back to 3000$ and whale dumping can caused bitcoin price to drop but it will only temporary because a lot of people is waiting for low price to buy

I guess bitcoin will drop by september but it won't probably last if it will fall I think only for few days like what happen before the hard fork then suddenly pump and reach $4500. I am hoping after the drop it will pump and reach $5000.

Well if that will happen again I guess its already anticipated and whale won't take that risk and try shaking the market bitcoin will keep doing some little correction but like others position it won't drop that hard so better to start buying now then sorry after seeing it flying for more.

OP, whats with this? everyone wants bitcoin price to constantly increase and you don't want that thing. If you missed to buy when its low I advice that you should start buying now as bitcoin will never go down as what you wish. And even hardfork and fuds will never affect that much. The price now is going to the moon and no one can stop this.

Still depends the ratio drop of Bitcoin in that time. Example if Bitcoin drop down like in 2013-2014, it will create panic selling on market and make the price of Bitcoin dump to lowest price, so need many time for recovery to old highest price (from 2014 until 2017 lol)

never hope for bitcoin price to drop, specially a big drop like a 31% drop like what OP is hoping for (drop to $3000), because first of all that won't happen and you will just continue missing out on the rest of the price rise to $4500, $4800, $5000, $5300,... because you are still waiting for a huge drop to buy in.

secondly is that if a big drop like 31% happens there won't be any rise anymore for a long time, something is wrong that causing that kind of drop.

You are asking this because you have sold the bitcoins in low price , but even last week the bitcoin price dropped to 3600+ price that time you could have bought it after that only it rises back to 4300+ level so you should be ready to buy on any drop and dont expect to drop heavy low if that happens even then also you wont buy because you will that time expect more low.

Miners are aalresdy moving to Bitcoin cash.
The remaining miners will probably mostly move to the new fork.
You will get your cheap coins.

If this happens though will it get surpassed by Bitcoin cash? That could be another risk, that it could trade places. If miners are moving to cash, then it could never recover. Just a sad potential, not even likely , unless someone states one way or the other Im just spitting thoughts

In about a day the mining difficulty for BCash will readjust (again), and there will be no particular advantage to mine this alternative Bitcoin since its price is still a few times lower than genuine Bitcoin's. After difficulty adjustment, miners will be prompted to continue mining regular Bitcoin until the BCash difficulty goes down again. Ultimately, it is the price that matters, and miners can't affect it much (at least, not in the long term)

Also a lot of persons was expecting for bitcoin to drop so we could buy some of it, however the price of BTC is just increasing every now and then alternatively the only way for the BTC to drop was to sell some of the coins we have and a lot of investor will buy it and it will still go up to the moon.

True, bitcoin is in a too expensive value, in terms of usability, it is not convenient to use for small transactions. This will reduce bitcoin's popularity. That is also why ETH can compete with BTC.

Although currently the bitcoin price is already very high but I will still expect bitcoin prices to rise again. Because it is strange that we expect bitcoin prices to want to decrease. Keep expecting prices to rise every day. Yes, truly we can expect a much increased price by the upcoming year, as we've got lots of special events to take place. Another thing is that, by the end or beginning of the year a price pumping happens. This time the same will take the price higher than the current price as we're now above $4000 with good stability.
