Need Advise on buying bitcoins

Since am relatively new here and to bitcoins, I've a lot of questions. Bitcoin I feel is relatively expensive to buy locally as the supply is limited and sellers are charging whatever the heck they want. I was thinking to buy it from an international exchange but the problem is that they are asking for too many bloody verification things which I've already provided but they still need blah blah blah.

So, have a few questions:

- is there any exchange which can get me registered just by my national identity card or passport? They are asking for utility bills in my name which I cannot provide since I live with my parents (normal here) so the bills are in their names. Tried to explain one of the support person but I guess they don't seem to understand
- any exchange(or rather their bank) which doesn't a ridiculous amount of money for online transfer from Pakistan.
- the exchange supports limit orders so I can buy when there is a correction  in the price
- the exchange offers to buy major cryptos through USD
- they respond to emails !

Most exchanges accept a government certificate of residency instead of a utility bill. You should be able to get this from
the administration (municipality) of your home town. Basically, any document signed from a government agency
should be sufficient!

Besides, you could submit a bank statement instead of a utility bill
(assuming that you have an own bank account in your name and don´t use the bank account
of your parents).

well, the whole concept of crypto-currency as I understand it is then lost if they need my bank statements as well. How the heck is this supposed to be anonymous? I already provided the idiots with my national identity card and my passport. What else do they want? Meet me in person, interview me and then open my account. well, I just sent one of them my mutual fund statement which shows my home address - lets see... strangely I checked my bank account statement and it doesn't show my home address.

But I still don't get it, why the heck would someone want my bank statement, its not like they are giving me a loan or something...anyways....

I am from the Philippines and I am a member of Coins.Ph but because I am a local here am not really familiar if it is also dealing with foreigners especially one residing in other countries and in Middle East at that. Yes, it can be good to maybe talk to the support of Coins.Ph and ask how to buy Bitcoin when one is based in another country.

I think holding bitcoin in about 1-5 years is certainly an investment that has minimal risk of loss but has good chance of earning big profit in the next few years.

In asking for utility bill, they really don't have interest in the name on the card what they want to confirm is the address and determine whether the address on your id card is the same as the one on the utility bill in other to ascertain that you really live there. Looking to buy exchange sites means you will have to use you debit  card which by default carries quite an amount of your details as well. I guess there is no two ways about that.

These are the simplest platforms and also very trustworthy and you don't need to worry about losing your money or getting hacked/scammed because these companies are very big and well known and would not risk their reputation.

If you have completed 18 then you can open bank account. Else you can use your parents bank account and then trade easily on any exchanges local or international. I'd definitely recommend Kraken, I've been buying Bitcoins there for years and I also pay with my debit card.
I've personally never used cex.io, so I can't recommend them personally, I have also heard good things about them though.

Hi, brother, I am from India and situation is almost same BUT the price is around 10% to 15% more than the international exchanges so it is not an issue.

I agree that the price is low on the international exchanges but since if we decide to buy directly from the international exchange, the cost of transferring amount from our currency to USD will be almost 10% to 15% and it will take hours or even days for payment confirmation so I don' think there any practical solution as of now to transfer funds in less than that of Bitcoin fees.

KYC verification is not an issue, most of the international exchanges support govt issued identity cards.

that's easy if you buy a bitcoin to be knocked down the price just for a high price then suddenly dump the price and buy a bitcoin .. there are exchanger that need the approvals before you can withdraw your funds if not You're just getting withdrawn its just ok because I think you're a kid still leaning on your parents. Its looks so complicated I think,, is there has no local exchanger in your country ?  if there is no local exchanger how can you withdraw your money from bitcoin so far ? I mean if you have some bitcoin from bounty campaign

i don't think bittrex supports sending usd to them, they only seem to accept bitcoins....which if I buy through localbitcoin is quite expensive even when the bitcoin is down internationally...

You must know how risky the investment in bitcoins. We must aware to all of the information about bitcoins because it is a good way to improve our skill and eventually earn more income.

I don’t think so because for a new comer it depends on how much he can invest in bitcoins and how much knowledge does he have of crypto currencies. So before buying bitcoins one must be sure about what he is going to do and what will be the consequences of this in future. So, be careful while buying bitcoins and don’t take too much risks.

i am agree with you and maybe you can try with local bitcoin as many others said. localbitcoin is the best option you can because in that sites, you can found many people and they are from all country i guess. maybe you can follow my way, i am creating a post in local forum and asked them, is there any of them know bitcoin and from what city. not waiting too long, i've got reply from the other members and fortunately he is come from the same city like me so we have a deal to meet and finally i can buy bitcoin from him. its doesn't matter if the price is more higher than the exchanges market because we are buying from our friend.

for the other question, if you can buy bitcoin your friend, then you can have bitcoin and from this, you can trying to trading or other activities you want and you can register with international exchanges like poloniex and bittrex and the other sites.

That was right since bitcoin is legal in your country i think there is an active exchange that selling and buying bitcoin able you to purchased,if not you can also used credit card to buy bitcoin there are many sites accepting card as mode of payment but it was too risky to buy online.

I am not pushing anyone also to buy bitcoin, because i know everyone would loved to have an investment with no capital involved. But since the question is what can you advice in buying a biyvoin then, I'm advising you to buy a bitcoin when the price is low. you should try local bitcoin i think there will be any one from your country who is doing trading and exchanging bitcoin from your local currency. otherwise there is no direct way to exchange bitcoin from your local currency. you have to exchange it into USD using paypal or pioneer and than do it through different exchanges.

I buy and sell bitcoins at localbitcoins, i think this is the easiest way to buy/sell them quickly. Sometimes i just want to withdraw some cash to my bank account, and i sell my bitcoins in there, and a plus of 2% - 3% that most sellers offers, and 10 minutes after i pay, i receive the money on my bank account. If you have enough ID for a bank account and debit card, then you have enough ID to open an account on one of the exchanges. I do not see what your problem is with that.  Which ones did you try already and what ID did you give them?

They are asking for utility bills in my name which I cannot provide since I live with my parents (normal here) so the bills are in their names. Do not afraid to invest your money to the Cryptocurrency world. Be brave when doing investing because fear is a great factor in losing money . We must invest all of our money to the bitcoin for us to earn big amount of money.

I also has suffering this type of problem. but buy bitcoin with my local money from tradders who sell their bitcoin in my country.You can use localbitcoin site to convert your local money to bitcoin.i think this site will remove your problem.

Actually every country has local exchanger like my country but seem like you do not have it in your country.
Seem like to be difficult to buy.
As i know all exchanger need that kind of document to verify your identity except local exchanger.

I would not suggest localbitcoins to anyone to be honest. I think there are just too many scammers there and sold accounts ready to pounce on newbies. On the other hand centralized exchanges are much better and safe than using LBC. There are so many reputed exchanges in the crypto world where you can buy bitcoins which Fiat be it USD or EUR.

Now the forum marketplace maybe a good place as well but be sure to use an ecsrow for that.
