Same eggs in basket on my end  I also keep ETH, LTC and few other alts - for example Syscoin and Siacoin. I will not sold them in 2 - 3 years for sure! |

Ethereum is one of the best long term hodl cryptos out there! Bitcoin is a hodl, but I think everybody knows this  Another good longterm invest is Zcash! Bitcoin is the best holding forever and eth needs a lot of work still to stand next to bitcoin. Eth is a big failure and any sensible investor will not like to hold this shitty coin. Waves are much better than this trash. If you really want to make money by holding, invest as much as you can into bitcoin and then go for waves. Waves are the best among altcoins. |

Add sonm, it's gonna be worth billions in a few years, making each coin worth a couple of (tens of) dollars no doubt. Also invest in Eth and Bitcoin, as hedges but also to reinvest your profits in ICO's and new coins

Definitely check out ETP. It's a new coin based on the ETH software. It uses the metaverse system. I just happened to stumble across it by someone asking me to help them setup a pool and it's already climbed up 300% since I bought some up. I definitely plan on holding long term on this one.

Time and again only BTC proved and will be proving that is the only true LT hold, at least at a very high % that it will stay Longterm. But i think also LTC as second, the difference between btc and ltc is criminal

There are several coins to look at for long term HODL,
the Obvious one is Bitcoin, if you buy some now, and place in an offline wallet, any forks that happen will also double your coin into the two new chains so you can forget about it for a few years that way.
I would also go with Waves, as they have a solid longer term roadmap. Smart contracts, upgraded DEX etc.

What about bitcoin and ethereum? They are the best two cryptos for long term, don't go deeply in altcoins.
I can also recommend Lisk, Waves, and ICN.

The only sure bet is Bitcoin, it has proven that it still the sure banker, though most of these ALtcoins too have made significant gain especially in Fiat but all these is due to bitcoin price going up.
