i've been here for well over a week but i haven't posted a single post because i don't have anything to say for the most part and i don't frequent the newbies portion of the site... it makes me rather uneasy to have to spam some 4 messages to make legit posts elsewhere

Google Butterfly Labs. There is a very good chance it is a scam or ponzy scheme. Apparently the CEO is recently out of jail too!

Do your research and be extremely wary. Remember that with crytocurrencies there is no recourse, no chargeback method. When the money is out of your hands it is completely out of your control.

My two quite carefully considered posts on what should be genuinely interesting topics (LTC mining with spare VM host compute and useful work cryptocurrencies have also been nearly pushed off the screen already. I'm hoping I can move them somewhere else after I'm de-n00b'd.
