My parent , especially my mom , she always tell me to stop doing bitcoin otherwise i will go to jail or doing bad things to social ! I don't get it ! Old generation seem very lack of experience in Bitcoin ! Why they keep telling us to stop when they even don't know how to check a simple email on ebay ! How to explain them guys ?
So do I, at the first few weeks of my bitcoin life. Maybe they just want us to be more safe and good because more on in social media are scam so they do not want us to be scammed nor become scammer, so they just warned us before it happen. |

just show them what did you do making money in using bitcoin.
my parents are very supportive to me when im using bitcoin. because i explain it to them clearly that this site is not a scam, it help me to get a simple income of mine so ill share my profitable income that i get on bitcoin.

Parents are sometimes skeptical about internet, especially with the recent ransomware situation that involved bitcoin, so bitcoin is bad in their eyes. My mother is the same, she told me to stop doing it as it's on news everywhere, i just explain to her that bitcoin is not bad, the money i earn is legal and she finally understand. |

Yup disagree with these ones, because this might online scam and their afraid my money and time would be waste. Maybe parents are so concern about these they are not like our generation, who prefer the offline work and they don't want to get involve with things they are not familiar with.

So do I, at the first few weeks of my bitcoin life. Maybe they just want us to be more safe and good because more on in social media are scam so they do not want us to be scammed nor become scammer, so they just warned us before it happen. Old generation slowly get a new technology and such thing as digital currencies. My mom still can't go well with her first smartphone. But she supports my bitcoin activity. Of course I stay silent about my gambling activity with bitcoin  but it's only to protect her from negative thinking about me and gambling. I'm sure that she will be against of that and will think that I'm addicted or can be and so on. But actually gambling give me good money as well. |

I know, right? My mom used to be like that, too. Now, she supports me, I think she's just worried about our safety, since there's so many bad news about bitcoin. Even tho she still doesn't really get it, but I told her that bitcoin is not a bad job. And all about those bad news on tv, well, it depends on the people itself. |

Yes.Just the same with me.My parents also are really supportive when it comes in bitcoining even though they don't really understand it fully.But i always assure them that i'm just on the right track,bitcoin is not illegal.So in return,i used to share with them my profit here in bitcoin. |

i think what's more important here is your way of explaining to them. bitcoin and its community is friendly to whoever understands it and uses it for good purposes. try explaining to them without the urge of annoyance try to be more gentle and show bitcoin in a calm family-friendly way.

It is happened to me a couple years ago , now when bitcoin price high rise and I can earn bitcoin from online my parents start agree what am I doing with my laptop .
You cannot argue with money, my parents did not believe in bitcoin either but when they saw my earnings and the way I earn them they had no other choice but to concede and admit that I know more than them in these matters and now let me be and do what I want with bitcoin. |

You cannot argue with money, my parents did not believe in bitcoin either but when they saw my earnings and the way I earn them they had no other choice but to concede and admit that I know more than them in these matters and now let me be and do what I want with bitcoin. its not that parents are stupid, its that the are cautious. like bitcoin to you, you as their child are an investment to them. they would hate to see you stagnate, and be inefficient  the fact of the matter is that, unless you are a pretty competent kid programmer, not being old means not having job experience, which translates to a lowered salary cap. since you cant really make significant money online unless you live in an economically depressed area, unless you have a decent resume, its a waste of time. there is no problem with spending your time earning money, your free time, that is. but spending time earning money in the real world (having a job, or going to school to ensure your future value) ensures that you will have more value to invest in bitcoin. so if you really love bitcoin, you should be looking at all sources of value, not just cryptos  also, parents can whoop on your ass, so its always a good deal to listen to them. ass whooping is a powerful thing. |

You have Same case with albert enstein, Alex Graham Bell, Leonardo da Vinci. People around them never give a positif reaction and always rejection for something new that they don't understand. Try to explain your parent by showing stock market on NewYork, Gold Investment, and something about asset from TV. Like Bloomberg |

Our parents lived long before computers are available to everyone. It's not surprising that they do not trust the web. They can see the strive, determination of all their efforts to achieve what they have now and what they have for you.
Disadvantages of technologies such as young people do not read books, computer games sometimes contain violence.
These are just some factors that keeps our parents afraid of what technology can do.
Let them see how helpful technology is. Today, technology is needed in daily activities. They will understand it one day.

You can't really blame them for that at all, they really don't know a thing about bitcoins and making money online, and people are always skeptical about things that they don't know about and they are always afraid of making money online which they tend to think is very easy and they believe nothing good comes easy except criminal things. |

Be nice with your parents. Explain to them nicely how bitcoin works and its capabilities for you in earning some extra income. I know they will understand you if you explain it to them well especially your mom. Just have a good timing and serious talking about it and surely everyone even your parents will understand what you are doing. |

Maybe not all parents are the same. Some parents will encourage you in what you are doing and some parents will stop you. It is because they are just being concern to you or what may happen to you. Explaining it to them nicely will surely understand you. Have a specific time of the day where you and your parents can have a conversation about the things you do online. |

Like all parents they are worried, more so because it is something they don't understand. They have been around the block themselves and are probably of the belief if it smells like fish it is fish. Explain to them about the global shift towards crypto currency, its benefits and how it works. You have to remember most media attention bitcoin gets is generally all the negative media.
