I'm currently mining Ethereum but thinking of switching to XMR.
I was wondering if there are any miners that I can use to mine XMR.
My setup is 5 1060 Nvidia Cards running on Ubuntu 16.04.

All help and advice is greatly appreciated!

Yep, there is clymore CryptoNight GPU Miner. Easy to setting and start to mine.
There is also some miners like sgminer 555, but not so setup friendly, and not for all
Amd cards.

I just read the readme file and it looks like it doesn't have support for NVidia cards =/

Hi P00P135,

First off all thank you for responding to my post, you are right and I am new to this forum but I am not new to the Cryptoworld:)

Just to clarify, we clearly state on our website that you CAN use our software, since this makes it that much easier to join, especially for newcomers. But we also say on our website:

Other Miners:
You can use your favorite miner program too instead of ours, just point your own software to our host and the appropriate port. Your username is your wallet address and the password can be set to anything.

So you are not obligated to use our software and free to join in any other way:D

We created the software to make it at easy as possible for others to start with mining Monero and not to scam people.

Hope this clarifies things for you and hopefully you still will join us, by connecting in your own way to the pool.

We have also changed some things on our website after your posts. Please check our website again and thanks for your feedback!

In case you have any other suggestions, just let us know!

For Monero you better buy AMD. Best Nvidia miner is XMR-STAK-NVIDIA, also for CPU, but it's only for Windows. For AMD best hashrate has SGminer, but I recommend XMR-STAK-AMD, I like it much more, it's based on Wolf's Miner. Claymore is worst option.

Thanks! Very easy to complle on Arch Linux and getting ~325 H/s with an i7-4770.  I was only getting ~200 H/s with cpuminer-opt.
