Operation: Kill All The Altcoins!

Stop trading altcoins and attaching value to them!  If you don't want more bitcoin and litecoin clones, then stop giving them value.  The value of a coin is decided by how much value its users perceive to be!  Save only Litecoin!  Is anyone looking into creating a pool to 51% altcoins that seem shady?

BITCOIN SHALL REIGN FOREVER! (and litecoin)

Caps and color clearly make it legit. Smiley

I've got nothing against altcoins as long as they're transparent, open-source, are not controlled by a single entity and actually improve on the cryptocoin idea (reduced confirmation times without losing security etc)

Oh... Ok, I'm against pretty much all altcoins then.

What makes Litecoin so special?
It might be simply because its more valuable and looks viable and not subject to the 51% ownership some of the others suffer

You can't kill the altcoins.  They are resilient just like bitcoins.  All you can do is choose not to own or accept any.  The only way for a coin to die is for everyone to lose interest in it, and talking about them does nothing to reduce interest in them.

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

Stop! You are making far too much sense for this board... it won't register.  The same people that spend all day complaining about a currency are no different than the ones that talk about how they hate certain celebs. So much energy wasted, they completely miss the point.

Bitcoins and dollars are alt coins too, let's go back to trading goats, chickens and healthy offspring.

I'll give you 3 goats for a son, and one chicken for a daughter. I'll increase that to 4 goats if I get one of your wives for the night.

So based on what you're saying, OP might just be a clever double-agent?  Grin
