All the altcoins currently for sale, linked on Bitcoin Give, will have an in-kind donation made in the buyer's name, which can be claimed as a tax deduction. All documentation to submit the claim (like donation receipts, item photos & ad text) will be scanned and/or forwarded to the buyer.
Public broadcasting pledge drives gave me the idea. "For a $1000 donation, you get this canvas book tote."
The altcoin is the book tote, the BTC pays for the in-kind donation that is made in the buyer's name.
