I've seen that tweet that somebody already claimed whoppercoins. So this project is already active? I am interested because I'm travelling to Moscow in a few weeks and I want to try it out. That's a nice marketing instrument. Buy more burgers to get special coins and you can use the coins only in the same restaurant chain. But what would happen if suddenly some exchanges start to list and trade this coin? Price would rise up and people would buy burgers like crazy just to get the coins and sell them to others.  

i didn't understand that. why they just didn't make a BurgerKing-Card ? Use your BK-Card when you buy something at BK and get points? it makes no sense to use Waves for this thing. and we are sending receipt as e-mail to burger king. lol. it isn't practical..

I think this is like a new reward pointing system for those loyal customers of burger king wherein you can accumulate points on buying foods of burger king then you can use the accumulated points as payment when you buy again in Burger King. I find it new and exciting. Though we can't trade it unlike the regular token that we knew.

This should work similar to a loyalty program (reward points) or amazon gift card where you can buy/sell the gift cards in open market or use it with amazon itself.

it was a Russian Burger King announcement you can check with coindesk.com they also quote the same as it was in other media

so it will be good coin and circulation of this coin will be good too once it will be launch !
