your question is impossible to answer
1. You have to have a wallet per coin type, there isnt 1 wallet that does everything. It just doesnt work like that.
2. What do you mean by mining function? Wallets dont mine. Ever.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Minergate is good for XMR and ByteCoin. It works flawlessly with low end machine and the best part is it can mine even on Android devices. Though I would not recommend to mine on phone because this will drain the battery and will also bring down the phone life.
There are certain wallets that come in with built in mining capability but then they are mostly solo.
You can try Nicehash too.
All the best.
Happy Mining!!

Actually like the original BTC wallet, most wallets have a built in solo mining function. You have to set gen=1 in the debug console or wallet configuration file. The problem is it uses the CPU and for most most coins, the difficulty is too high to solo mine with a CPU. The miner also isn't optimized for diffrent processor types, so you are better off using an external CPU miner.

Yes, there is such wallet - KARBO Karbowanec cryptocurrency You can mine it with CPU, I would suggest mining from pool, not solo mining Just in case you need more info I did video review of it https://steemit.com/dtube/@flodner/didvah55

IMHO to mine with a laptop is something for learning poorhouses only then use that knowledge to mine with hardware that can handle the load many laptops can handle the load but it also puts them under severe stress and could destroy the laptop very fast

With laptop I would not suggest to mine, it gots really hot and works more slowly (I'm using Macbook pro)
I mined 1 Karbowanec there, but it took me more than a week (I was running it only when worked not 24hours) I did it with learning purposes.
Then I tried GridCoin - from laptops (both Macbook and Lenovo) it is mining very very slow. No reason to do it. But from iMac I mined almost 1 GridCoin a day I think I'll make short video to show the difference

I think if one is limited to just laptop then POS is a best shot. Like everyone else mentioned, mining with laptop puts the machine under huge stress and can damage the components, however, there is one coin that works fine even with old machines and do not require any super resources. If you have heard about Burst coin. Mining for this coin is done via hard drive. You may want to take a look at it.
Good Luck!!

ArtByte ABY Windows wallet software has mining capability. It basically includes pooler's cpuminer (minerd.exe) with the ArtByte wallet. macOS wallet can also mine, but you need to put minerd in the same directory yourself. my MacBook Pro gets hot using CPU mining and GPU mining, so I have to blow a fan across the keyboard area. Make sure you are not covering the laptop so it can breathe (no keyboard covers, laptop shells, etc). https://www.artbyte.me/mining-artbytes/

BTW, I forgot to mention that biblepay has pool miner built in to the wallet too.

I think maybe he means wallet software that also contains a miner maybe? I know AppleByte or ArtByte, whatever its called now has mining function built in with their wallet
