I should have seen it, I should have recognised it but I ignored all the warning signs. As a complete NUBE and idiot, this sadly needs to be my first post. DONT BUY from Hminers.com, I did and lost....big.

The entire site is a SCAM!!!!!

Please tell everyone you can....no doubt most of you already knew it but the site is only a couple of weeks only and I was that green.

If anyone knows what, if anything, can be done, please let me know. I also think they are Australian.

Sorry to hear, I've found a site which looked a bit too good to be true so I've asked before handing over any cash here:

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to purchase some ASIC hardware (S9 & L3+) and stumbled upon http://minersondemand.com/ late last week.  The domain has only been up a few weeks and apart from a couple scripted testimonials on youtube here and here I've not been able to find any mention of them online.

They use Paypal as their payment portal however when I went to process my cart I was greeted with Paypal's "Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later." message.
I emailed MINERSonDEMAND to enquire about supply and was told that Paypal have done the whole "freeze their funds for 180 days" thing because Paypal deem it "high risk business" presumably because it's BTC hardware.  I've known of Paypal to do this to legit merchants in the past when they start receiving high order volume, take for example jehugarcia's experience on youtube for a group buy of 18650 batteries.

I enquired as to whether or not I could pay using an alternative means, eg direct deposit or payment in BTC and they will accept the latter.  The site doesn't have the look or feel of a scammy site however some phishing emails I've seen of late have been pretty convincing so I know the scammers are lifting their game.

So I'm reaching out to the BTC community in the hope somebody can share their experience with this company, are they legit?  Any experience or feedback appreciated, thanks!

Do you know where in Australia Hminers are located?  I only ask as I'm an Aussie, their website suggests offices in the UK and US but I'm guessing you've done some whois digging to be saying that?

You can basically write off the money you lost, you will not get it back. Whenever you see a miner with rediculously impossible numbers you really should research before attempting to buy. There are only 3 real miner manufacturers out there.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Hi tptm, I guess you would have an idea of how much i would like to know where they are.

They seem to have a number of people around the clock minding their emails, most seem Asian by their level of comunication, but I am sure one is an Aussie, as an Aussie myself I recognised the comunication really clear, especially when you get them upset. (As if they had a right to be angry!!).

fantastic26 is spot on. As a newbie to the industry and especially to purchase of goods online, particulalry when there is such a promise of high returns, I got stooged.

Question I have though is this; Other than searching through forums and digging about the net, is there a trusted organisation that gennerally does this work for you that people can subscibe to to verify a company?

If not, and with the level of fruad expected to increase exponentially in the internet of things, there is a great opportunity for a Start Up.

Is there such a company?

How can a scam be a pretty thing? I detest all this thievery and conning. It's because of a never ending coming and going of naive victims that these scams thrive and flourish. These scammers know there will always be one out there whom they can con within minutes. Even 1 out of 10 is a good failure/success ratio for them.

People interested in mining should really educate themselves before investing a ton of money on these expensive rigs. Due diligence. Lots of it. Take your time to check and research your sources carefully. Don't let the excitement of quickly getting those rigs tempt you to send thousands of dollars to websites or people who promise to deliver them to your door before 9 AM tomorrow. Scammers will say, do and promise anything to lure you to send money ASAP!

Cause this isnt a scam as far as we can tell. There was nothing posting about:

Who we are talking about
What was stolen
Where the proof of any of this is
when did this scam take place
Why should we believe any of it.

Try it this way:

What happened::

Scammers Profile Link:

Reference Link:
Amount Scammed:
Payment Method:
Proof of Payment:
PM/Chat Logs:
Additional Notes:

Tell everyone what happened. Otherwise this is just another pretty post

As people said above you need to show us proof of payment and emails, screenshots etc..  what if you want to trash their sales  ? Code can be found above or in stickies. If you paid with reversible payment method is it the only way to recover lost money. If bitcoins were sent you can't do nothin than prevent other of being scammed.

Looks like all the scam accusations are about someone making some new scam ico, or someone buying miners with incredibly low prices.

Please use the correct scam accusation format.

It does look like a scan though, anyone that is selling miners for low prices and isn't willing to use escrow is most likely trying to scam people.

Bit embarrased to go into the detail mate. Why the heck would anyone yell out that they found a confirmed scam and that they themselves have been the victim if it wasnt true? Nothing bloody pretty about losing over $30k pal, nothing pretty at all, what a stupid thought.

Now your tryng to tell me that it needs to be a acertain format otherwise you wont accept its a legit scam??? Hey, tell you what brightness, go and buy one of their non existant machines and come back to this thread and tell me how its running for you. Guarantee youll change your handle to "Scamsucks".

So after I cought them out for steeling my money, this was her responce;

Omg Sir, we will deliver your product, no worries .

Thats a "Copy and paste" from my email, soz for not submitting the whole thing but im not putting my details up.

Anyhow, I then told her "If you are true Jeong Lee, I would rather a refund please.

Your site speaks of a full refund opportunity, will you be true in this regard?

My wallet address is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Her exact responce;

"I will go in heaven after i spend your money no worries."

There was more dialogue after that but its not fit for public consumption.

HMINERS IS A CONFIRMED SCAM!!!!

Check out there website properly, I was stupid enough not to, dont follow my money-hungry lead with your eyes shut. Open your eyes and think that if you dont do this right its going to cost you a bucket.

If you still dont believe and want more proof, spare me the stupid "pretty post" crap and buy one of their machines. Do it for us all and then send emails to all the Legit websites like Yahoo, Digital Journal, Wall Street Online etc and tell them they have theives advertising on their websites and stealling thousands of dollars from idiots like you and me.

Ive tried doing just that, no responce.
I tried Federal Police in Aus, they cant do a thing.
I tried ACORN, nothing!

Not expecting money back, just trying to stop other people getting scammned like me. So I'm pretty pissed off at stupid comments like yours SS! Like you need MY bloody confirmation in a sweet layout, nothing sweet about yelling out "FIRE" in a burning building is there? You wont be putting up 'post it notes' on everyones door will you? Or going back to your room and drafting a nice neatly tryped and doubles spaced letter and send it by courier to confirm it gets there will you? idiot.

HMINERS IS A SCAM, dont want to believe me, I couldnt care less, your problem there pal, JUST WARN EVERYBODY ELSE that they might lose their pants buying from them.

Hope thats clear enough, even if not "pretty" enough.

The point is you have not shown anyone a legit scam at all.  I am not in the market for buying a miner, so it wont apply to me anyway, but really... how do we know from what you posted you are not the owners ex lover trying to ruin the company? Or a competitor? Or just strung out on bath salts.

You posted the thread (I assume) to warn others about a potential scam. As a new member, with 0 credibility, you would have to go a bit further to convince anyone anything happened.  I used the word pretty to describe the post, not the scam. Without anything to go on its just words on the internet.

Let me sum my whole point on this subject up in a nutshell...

Do you take a random stranger on the internet at their word?

This group wants to stop scams from stealing money... but you need to work with it to get anything out of it.
Unless you are willing to back it up in some way this thread should be deleted.

Either way, im out of this one. the OP is angry with me over my choice of words, even if the point was clear and correct.

OP must be the type of person who does not listen to anyone, very proud people are like that

OP, you should not be someone who gives up easy and you should listen to what people tell you

Report these scammers to the police, contact a lawyer and a detective

Ladies or Gentlemen.

Arogance is in the eye of the beholder, but idiocy abounds. Calling me names or whatever the heck OP actually stands for, does not help the argument.
An ex lover may have a personal gripe, and impossible to gainsay, but this my friends is not that difficult to discover the veracity of.
If you delete this thread, you take away the FIRST STEP opportunity others can move on from.

PROVE THE SCAM you say

There is no possible way that I can actually "PROVE" this is a scam without revealing my personal details. Fake invoices I have, email conversations I have (as I tried to demonstrate). The website you can look up yourself. OR if you really choose, you might even think to dig around THIS FORUM AND READ WHAT OTHERS SAID. Try https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2093800.msg20980791

Scroll down and have a look at the diligent research Snuff28 did. Incredibly he is also a 'Newbie', it seems they have not become as complacent and lethargic as the Heros and Members on this thread.

I posted a warning and claimed a SCAM.
Your job brethren, is to do the due diligence I failed to do.

If you delete this thread, you take away the opportunity for others to do so.

If you delete this thread you are doing this comunity a great disservice.

My apologies if I come accross to you as angry, but to lose as much money as I had and to try to warn others and do the right thing, only to meet with pathetic stumbling stones who's arguments try to water down the warning and lead others to commit the same errors I did, makes me angry.

If you delete this thread, the loss of all who "purchase" anything from HMINERS is on your hands.

I Have said enough, do what you want with the thread.

Take care

Thanks so much for including those details bucuresteanul.

The newbies are on top of this on this thread and that great to see.

I dont know how many others have been scammed by these low life people, they are a blight on the crypto currency world, it would be great if we knew how to weed them out and deal with them, they do so much harm to the reputation of this technology.

Thanks again.

A business site where you can purchase something without SSL encryption is really suspicious but you still go through, sorry fir your lost but this site is really obvious a scam site. Better to serve this as a big lesson to you.
Or else it will happen again and again.

Yesterday i've made a phone call to UK office. A few hours later got a call from France...
I have a client that want to invets in some hardware and i requested if i can go to UK and see the miners working.
The deutch guy (at least he sounded like deutch) told me that they won't ship miners toUK for me to see them and if i wanted i had to go to Florida...

I don't think that i will get a free Florida trip... nor they any of my client bitcoins Smiley

Am I spamming? Report me!
