There is something interesting where cartaxi (CTX) will be finished exactly three days after hardfork, they only need 25% gain to reach hardcap. I think this is good because traders will focus back on altcoin and especially ICO. many projects benefited but all returned to investors and markets.

Aventus is very successful ico in october i agree with you.But speheris is not best i think.Kickcity is the best ico in my point of views because this ico team is very strong.Airtoken is also good ico.

i can notice that two-thirds of all past ICO were profitable in USD.
Against to BTC only a third of them are profitable, but the the maximum drawdown on the most unsuccessful from ICO -49% (it mean in twice). and the maximum profitability of tokens is hundreds and ever thousands percent.
So attention: there is a question. Maybe there is a reason to invest in good ICO and sometime it will be really profitable?

I hope hardforks will stop sooner than later. also, ICO's and forks have nothing to do with each other, one is a form of crowdfunding, the other is a change in mining and software by creating a new chain

Both are forms of greed, lets be honest with ourselves here. ICOs are 100% premined tokens, no risks from miners selling and crowdfunders won't sell for less then they paid unless they desperate. Digibyte for instance would be $500 million marketcap coin if it wasn't for the mining component that helps with distribution. It's a huge disadvantage to have PoW when it comes to coin rankings.

My current favourite ICO is BurstIQ. They try to decentralize healthcare related data and build their own LifeGraph (protected trademark). This LifeGraph should predict risk factors and will be used for prevention cases. Access to this data will be provided and managed through smart contracts that can be created, modified and revoked by the owner of the data.

The team seems rock solid with well-known industry insiders. What I like most is that is flying under radar of most crypto investors.

I am more interested in buying ico tokens which are heavily underwater right now than investing in token sales.

Many token sales have been postponed in the last weeks. Seems like the investors are really scared right now.
