This topic is very old. I don't know you sell or not. If you didn't sell your eth, you lost a lot of money. If you have your eth, you should wait bull market.

Since the post hails form August of the last year, I an sure the author of the post would have earned great money by trading his coins in December 2017. This would have been my own strategy if I had been holding the ETH. Speaking according the current market, I would not sell my ETH and would rather hold for a time that will rise the worth of my ETH. This is what all the investors would do when the market is down and not so favorable.

Definetely you should hold your all of ethereums. Dont worry to loss 5 eth. You should hold it to one-two year I guess. You should be patient or you should forget it for a while ethereums. You will earn a lot of money for holding trust me ethereum price will be 2000 - 2500 dollar in one year.

I think it will result in loss of the money if you sell now. The price of ETH has gone way too down now and it is not possible for you to retain even the money you have invested if you sell now. The best thing right now is to hodl. The recover of an asset again in the market takes time so you should stay really calm and keep researching about crypto to widen your knowledge more and more. Eventually when the ETH reaches back to $1000 or more than that, it will render you much richer than you had dream of.

I don't think that selling your ethereum right now is appropriate because as you notice the market is not in a good condition so maybe you should wait for atleast a couple of months before you consider it for selling.

Wow, 250ETH is a huge amount, and although the price of ETH has dropped a lot now, I think you can still keep them until the end!

It is very good amount for investment, if I have 250 eth, I hold minimum 150 eth for long term like 3-5 years. With other 100 eth maybe I can buy another good altcoins, and I can trade with little amount.

Hold it man. ETH reached $1500 last year. Now the price is less than $300. So if you sell your ETH now it will be a big loss. So best thing is holding it.

for now it might be the best choice to hold ethereum because the price has now dropped, my prediction that the price will rise again at the end of the year and at the beginning of the year, holding ethereum better than selling it
