Regarding China, personally I don't think that the government is able to stop the avalanche of ICOs and increasing intrerest towards such projects in their country. Of course China is notorious for its tough market regulation, but blockchain technologies are our future, that no government can resist.

And what about FireWall then? Chinese government can put restrictions on the Internet in 21 century, any doubts about restricions of blockchain technology??
But of course I hope such a large market wouldn't be excluded))

Judging by the fact Populous just signed a $1 billion partnership with Luxure Global Citizen, some sort of innovative luxury shopping experience (which is big, apparently, but personally never heard of it), Populous is doing good, and comparing Universa to it is a good sign for Universa.

I think this project has good chances, because using of smart contracts is the future of business. And examples of similar projects evidence the future success of Universa

No doubts in its future success

My husband told me Universa is a bubble and wants to forbid me to invest... What should I do?

May be your husband shall read more thoroughly their wp, and their vision? since it's easy to call something a bubble.
but I would recommend not to fall out with your husband over such marginal issue Wink

Sir please just take a minute to check the website (or this topic) before you start making such comments. There is no need for the character size that you use.

I suggest you share some quality information about Mr. Borodich and his project with your husband, some of the stuff is pretty impressive. I mean, not everyone gets to be invited to the Eastern Economic Forum, along with presidents and ministers Wink

Can somebody explain what a smart contract is?

Well, I will try to put it as simply as possible. A smart contract is a technology, which can guarantee security of any operations. The parties to the contract have an equal access to it, and unless borth parties fulfill the conditions of the contract in a good faith, the smart contract wouldn't approve the operation. Thus, smart contracts offer a new way to conduct almost any types of deals without the third part (like notary officer for example) and guarantee absolute security of the money and information transfered via smart contracts

One of the brightest explanations! It's never been that clear!! Thanks!

Universa ICO is not still even begun. Only pre-ICO is over. Please, be patient and watch news in the official telegram channel, do not spread rumors

Because Universa is not about cryptocurrency, it's about smart contracts and about providing a platform for users to conduct any opetaions

Hi guys! I see although this is a project by russian guys, english thread is much more active than russian one. I'm a new in ICO world, now considering to make an investment. But I don't really understand, are there any ways to somehow guarantee that I won't lose my money? I realize that investments are always a risk, but still I don't want my first experience to be a fail. Will be very glad to hear recommendations from more experienced investors))

Investments never can be 100% safe. What I would recomment is to start with small investments, and may be if you have an opportunity to allocate your investments among several projects. And of course before buying tokens look thoroughly all info you have about the project, its team, founders and so on. I know that's obvious things I'm saying but still there are bsic requirements to make a profirable investment. Good luck, hope you'll make a right choice!

Really? Do you mean the forum that was held in Russian Vladivostok just recently? I didn't know they discussed there such topics as blockchain technology. That's cool! Could you share a link if you have?
