Failed to mod Gigabyte RX570 AORUS 4G Hynix, help needed

A very well build card but i cannot mod the BIOS.

I simply copied timing of strap 0:1500 to 1625/1750/2000.

After reboot, in windows 10 device manager, I got this error:  
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). "

It is patched by atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5
win 10 pro 64 bit

I can recover the card by flash the original backup BIOS.
I tried a couple of times, but the result is same.

HELP NEEDED.

You are definitely a noob hehe, you need to use driver signature software to bypass it. Search for atikmdag patcher 1.45. There are tons of threads about things, search what happened is the best thing, another wasted noob created thread hehe, only create a thread if you spent 6 hours and found nothing at all.

Thanks for the information. sorry that i did not make things very clear. I did patch the driver with atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5. And I successfully modded the BIOS of other cards (msi RX580 8G/Gigabyte RX580 4G/Sapphire RX580 8G).  I just failed on this card only.

BTW: As a noob, I spent whole night to google to fix this problem. And i even flashed the BIOS someone posted online as a working BIOS MOD of same card.
Then I finally decide to post a thread this morning.

Thanks for the information. sorry that i did not make things very clear. I did patch the driver with atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5. And I successfully modded the BIOS of other cards (msi RX580 8G/Gigabyte RX580 4G/Sapphire RX580 8G).  I just failed on this card only.

Okay so I take back what I said, It seems your problem is really difficult to solve cause you reflashed with the original Bios and the problem still persists. Use ddu to clean up everything, reinstall drivers, use only the card that has the problem and see what comes up next and then you come here and feedback us.

Also, maybe you did not use the atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5, maybe you think you used it, try it again.

Some cards are recognized without the atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5 and work without it, some are not, so it depends.

DDU uninstall driver. re-install blockchain beta driver. Patch driver.

Got 27.9MH/s for this card.

Use 1100 / 2020 clocks, you will get 29mh/s eth with this card.

Usually Code 43 happens either if drivers fail or if hardware fails.
Since you tried updating drivers with no result, the only other option is, that your GPU or motherboard slot failed.
The solution is you have to do this : if your motherboard has more then one PCIe x16 slot, put the GPU to another slot to rule-out motherboard failure.
Or you should test the GPU and put another PC to confirm that problem lies in the card.
After that you can flash with stock bios and remember to uninstall driver completely.

yes, actually those amd cards quite messy
I had asus rx570 strix 4gb it was mined some Electroneum, but one day it trough this 43 code on the mining rig.
had to reflash the card and insert it back, now it is working again, no idea what it was and why it happened..

Did you try to flash your cards using downloaded modded bios from somewhere? You should use your original bios for doing mod. For a starter like you, you can use the one-click mod features on PBE.
