Avalon 741 star up Quick question

Hello very beginning question. I use original Avalon miner controller connected to my laptop via USB cable. but my laptop does not see resp pi. my question  is that do I need to install (resp pi software) ?  to acess avalon resp pi ?? please help  cant find answers in internet

There are plenty of setup guides on the internet, google is your friend... You need to hookup the avalon controller to your computer via an ethernet cable. Change your network settings on your local computer so that you can connect to it, make config changes, and set it to dhcp.

You have to change your computer's IP address, and then you can use your browser to connect to the pi.
