Aliens take over the Earth. Not because they are stronger, actually, it is just one rusty spaceship. But their navigation computer is way faster than anything on Earth, so - yes, yes - they do mining and collect enough wealth to rule the planet.

It's more realistic that they destroy the earths financal system once it's based on Bitcoins.
They plug in their computer and the difficulty gets ridiculously high, then they do a 51%99,9%attack or just plug it off and Bitcoin is dead xD

If they just have one rusty spaceship, I'd just blow them the f88k away. Great idea though. Problem is you could replace "alien" with "any very big government" and have the same effect. Hard to blow governments the f88k away as well. |
