If this regulation exists, of course, the ICO will be more developed. Today many people do not have security guarantees for investments made by many people. And if these regulations exist and the government continues to monitor crypto, I believe that market prices will also continue to be high because of the trust of many investors.

ICO regulations would be a great one. A lot of scam and unrealistic projects wouldn't exist, therefore rate of people being scammed would reduce. It will be very much welcome.

I do not want to think that the cryptocurrency can be concentrated in the hands of government bodies. It seems to me that this will kill the cryptocurrency.

There are both sides of a medal here: from one side we have anonymous investments, but scammers do not sleep as well. From other side regulation will help to fix scam problems, but it will trigger kyc process.

I would never have thought that I would say this, but now the cryptocurrency market requires regulation and especially regulation requires startups

I don't think that's good. It seems to me that the cryptocurrency should develop completely freely. The government will limit cryptocurrency in some aspects.

More and more countries are planning to regulate ICOs. China, Canada, Russia,... I think this in an development nobody can stop. Do you think it is good or bad that ICOs will be more regulated in the near future? What positive and negative influences will it probably have?

I think there will be more investors like professional managed funds or even retirement funds which will invest into ICOs. The prices for ICOs will then become even more expensive and make it more difficult to make profits for small investors.
Regulations for ICOs is a very perfect thing. I would have love a situation whereby priority is given to this in this year 2019 so that there will be a standard for token sales.

I am against a similar venture since the market was initially positioned as decentralized, therefore it would be wrong to regulate it

If regulation should be, then it should come from within the crypto community, and should not be imposed from the outside. Some control is still needed to reduce the number of fraudulent ICO. On the other hand, all the beauty in the absence of control.

It is not necessary for my opinion but in today situation some regulation will also be implemented to improve the ICO's very stronger because there are lots of scams and untrusted projects will came again and again only show the implementation is very important to make this field more powerful.

Definitely bad solution, but you know, at the same time you can easily gain on it as a customer. Imagine you lost money, but with regulation SEC can compensate you this amount

Well, no one will regulate the crypto currency, and the topic is not about that, but about the regulation of ico, I think the ico needs to be regulated to eradicate mosheynikov so that beginners do not fall for the tricks of the Scam!

It will be good, most of the ICO really have no genuine intentions or plans to develop on their promises, they only want a share of the crypto money. They rip investors of their money and leave them with worthless tokens.

With the current ICO market condition which is all messed up, we need to think now of regulation just check the scam sections and see how many scam ICO are caught almost everyday even a newbie can set up an ICO and collect money from investors and run away after that.

Imposing regulations on ICOs is a good thing. This will ensure security for investors and serve as a check of all fake/scam ICOs that enter the market and tarnish the image of the entire crypto space. Setting up an agency or team responsible for keeping ICOs on track can be a stepping stone to this.

ICO regulation is just what this space needs right now. I mean, it's just too much. Many projects on ICO now do not even have a team, yet hey claim to be strong projects.

For me regulation of many ICOs which is good for their investors not to loss their money to avoid who are planning to be scam and it could help the crypto industry and economy of their country to be more stronger and the market price i think will be more stable.

We were in Malta during the Blockchain summit of November 2018, and we think that the regulation of ico, token and cryptocurrencies can only be good, because people who want to invest have the certainty of not being cheated, so the number of investors in the sector, can only increase and in turn the projects that will succeed thanks to these investors.

Yes, this is a better way to stop team from fraud or scamming investors by doing ICO projects. This is better and will definitely put a team to to jailed if they insist to scam investors. Besides, they had common sense so the effect of the regulation will definitely help the investors to secure their money from scam projects.

I agree with your opinion because the main reason in the implementation of regulation for the ICOs is to screen out those scam and fake ICOs who out to rob investors of their hard earned money. The regulation can also identify legitimate ICOs and their real purpose for their offerings. We should always be reminded that ICOs are high-risk, high-reward investments and it is important to know how much one is willing to invest and possibly lose before you decide to participate.
