Thanks. I'm trying not to get hit with fees when I move my bit coins. Seems like putting them on the trezor then I only pay the fee once. I think.
Do the bitcoins actually live on the trezor? i noticed I can only access my trezor with chrome. So if I want to send my bit coins any time I want I just have to carry around my trezor and plug it into a computer and remember the pin correct?
Once you have moved your coins to your Trezor, you can use it as your new wallet. Like with any Bitcoin wallet, you will have to pay transaction fees whenever you send coins to a new address (eg. an exchange or when buying stuff).
Bitcoins don't "live" on the Trezor, the bitcoin balances are stored in the Bitcoin network with Trezor safekeeping the keys you need to move your coins around. You can take your Trezor with you and use it on any PC that has Chrome installed. However you will always need to install Trezor's Chrome extension first.
Note that in addition to the PIN, having a passphrase is recommended. However keep in mind that if you lose or forget your passphrase, you won't be able to access your coins.
