I think world can function like a unit without a leader. But I also think that we would need someone who can guide us. So technically he would be a leader. If we have country where there is not law,the only law would be to not harm other human being in any way,physical or psychological.

It will be terrible,if we dont have leader because we dont have to lead our country nation and how and what to do if have problems in our country,it is very important to have a leader in times of trouble there is someone who could defend us and protect our country.

In any given economy,  country or setup, there must be leaders empowered to give direction by formulating policies that are capable of taking the society to the next level. They are the custodian of the Constitution. Otherwise, we will be witnessing a society of chaos.

A country can "manage" without the leaders, but there are instances where leaders have transformed these countries in an unbelievable manner. If you have any doubt regarding this, you can learn history. Look at what Thomas Sankara did to Burkina Faso, or what Vladimir Putin did to Russia.

There is always some kind of leadership, being one person or a group, a world without any sort of leaders is a world of anarchy. And total anarchy may only mean two extremes: a post-apocalyptical world or a utopia.

What will happen  to our country if we don’t have leaders? What will happen if no one is there to guide our country? A chaos? Or the country will be more productive than having a leader. Different perception different belief. But for me it’s a way better to have a leader so we have a representative with other country. The leader will represent his/her own country. World without leader won't be an ideal society because everybody will be doing things they like and want hence there will be a lawless society
