I won't experiment with my investments at this stage and will invest only in bitcoin even if price is too high as it will keep on moving higher in coming years too and we cannot have same confidence from any altcoin and investing big amount in altcoin is always an risk.

I think that the below crypto is the best. actually Bitcoin and Ethereum always the best coin to buy. but There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the best coin to invest.

I will keep my investments limited to bitcoin and Ethereum now and if I get some spare money then will think of investing in Monero and Ripple to minimize the risk.

depends on how risky you'd like to be. Safe as possible would be BTC or LTC. Risk would include any of the top alts at the moment.

I would start with bitcoin. Even 0.1 will be nice start. I also like IOTA coin, but can be just somebody like bitfinex is just pumping it. But I hope it will grow like 10x of current price next year.
If it was just about alternative coins, my recommendation would have been the same. As far as the best Crypto coin is concerned, it is only Bitcoin. No doubt Ethereum is a reliable, profitable and secure investment but it cannot compete Bitcoin in any aspect. For anyone who wants to double his money within weeks, no at coin can be an option. Also, it is good to have a diversification in collection. |

Many promising coins are now at the bottom. This is a good time to buy them. It all depends on what your strategy is. If you buy coins for long-term storage (my advise for a newbie is to use only the HODL strategy), then pay attention to coins like Monero, Iota, Stratis, Waves.

I do not know what crypto is the best now to buy to get fast profit, but you can consider MAID(safe coin).
Bitshares BTS looks quite good, too.
I think XEM has a bright future.
And have an eye on Ethereum network performance. If network will be fixed I definitely would like to buy some Algory in its ICO until 20% bonus will pass.

since your willing to out 1000$ .then you must have plan for what type of profiteering is fit for you.either investing,daytrading or gambling. but for me being newbie you must read more here..then while you were reading..put your money in Ethereum for long time investment,so when time comes your ready to explore the crypto.your money has doubled by then |

Better off getting Waves. It will catch up to Ethereum in Q1/Q2 2018 and surpass it. And this December (1-2 weeks) it'll be $20 to $40 because of the new mainnet, wallet and exchange. |
