Hello everyone, Im trying to install a modded bios for my RX 580 Nitro+ 8GB Special edition for increase MH/s but I find modded bios just for RX 580 Nitro+ 8gb Limited edition. I searched in all entire google, but still no result. I found just this comment in a site: "I have the same card (Hynix memory) and had the same problems. The stock bios runs at 20mh/s. For this card you should use the 2:1750 strap from the Sapphire Nitro Plus RX580 8gb normal or limited edition and copy it under 2:2000 and 2:2250." Can someone explain me what he's saying or link me a working modded bios for my card? Thanks in advance.  Huh

Just create your own using SRBPolaris. Make a backup of the original bios, copy the timings from 1500MHz strap and flash it. If it is unstable or doesn't give a good hashrate - try a higher strap.

Thank you man, I have just 1 more question for you. When I go to the tabs where I can modify straps, there are 2 tabs, the first one there is a code and then a "(SAMSUNG)" and the last straps is "2000". The second tab there another code and straps again until "2250". Which straps I should modify, in the first tab or in the second one?

The Polaris Bios modding guide is two posts below yours.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0

I have the same Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB SE with the blue faceplate and Hynix memory. I get ~29.25 MH/s copying the 1750 MHz strap from the link below over the 2:1750, 2:2000 and 2:2250 timings.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2145563.msg21472867#msg21472867

Using Polaris Bios Editor v1.6, copy the 1750 MHz timing and replace the timing in 2:1750, 2:2000 and 2:2250 with that one. Save the Bios and flash it to the card with Atiwinflash.

Check in GPU-Z about your card's memory manufacturer and edit only the type you have. Any of the straps would work, try using 1500 and only flash higher ones if it is unstable or gives you a low hash rate.
