He may one of the paid supporter of ripple so he asked the questions. Unlimited coins is worthless. No profit to keep the coin. Better to keep BTC, ETH or others. I don't realy like ripple. I can't even make profit from trading ripple. I tried to trade ripple, the price is going down slowly and the pump is slow too. For traders holding ripple will have no value. I prefer to leave ripple in may trading lists.

Nothing wrong with the number of coins. As long as there is a fixed number, the supply will be limited. It doesn't matter if you have 1 coin worth 1000usd or 1000 coins worth 1usd...

Wow i was looking this answer for months if i have to be honest. There are thousands of people trying to hype ripple, saying that it will be $1, $2, $5, $40 in a few years... They dont even know how does ripple works, why there is too much supply, they dont know anything about this coin and everybody is trying to hype it because they believe that investing only five bucks in this coin will make them millionaires.

Let's agree to disagree then.  There is these things called "market cap" and "market share" that limits the coins growth somewhat...and since I am here looking at big returns, I avoid "junk" or low return coins.  If you are interested in them be my guest, but I won't be joining you.

You can try to visit the ripple's site and you will see a lot of the bank institution already supported the ripple project and it makes sense to see the price of the ripple already become another promising project in the future.

They are raising the total supply from time to time but guess what? Nobody is buying the newly minted coins because they are not to be released! They are holding what they created so they can stay in top5. They can even become #1 crypto in coinmarketcap tomorrow if they wanted to but that might look too suspicious.  

Btw, ETH does (did) exactly the same.

And since coinmarketcap isn't a crypto police, they'll list in top5 whatever they like.
