Monero uses a completely different algorithm than the L3+; the L3+ mines Scrypt. Monero uses CryptoNight and is completely incompatible with Scrypt, hence the numbers are fucked up. The calculator is right for the most part if only you actually had that much CN hashpower.

Thank you so much for the in-depth answer, are there any ASIC for Monero right now?

No there are no Asic miners for monero and you can mine monero only with gpu and the funny part is that the total network hashrate of monero is 214 megahash and you are putting more than double hash rate that's why you are seeing profit of $12 million which is totally wrong And keep in mind that if you mine monero with gpu rigs the hash rate speed of your cards will be in sols or simple hashes per second.Google the speed for monero for different cards and than put those numbers in the calculator and than you will be able to get the profit accurately

Thanks ! I will definitely do that!

Antminer L3 + will not be able to mine Monero. It is designed to extract coins on the script algorithm To mine Monero, I advise you to use a video card! I hope soon will create Asic specifically for Monero)

Thank you so much for the in-depth answer, are there any ASIC for Monero right now? I'm not sure monero is paying all that well for any mining right now. But if your looking for a monero miner I would look into buying an amd epyc server with dual core processors. cryptonight is mostly a cpu miner first with some graphics cards that do ok with it but not as profitable as mining other coins. Right at the moment there is no asic. If your looking into asics I would stick to mining bitcoin or litecoin.

This is not possible. There are no asic that can mine XMR now

Well that explains why I couldn't find any mine to Asic in google I might try to mine minero with a RX 480 but I will first keep looking for more profitable alternatives

It's not a problem, just that's not mining Monero with a Scrypt miner. It's mining Scrypt and getting paid in Monero - big difference. Bit like saying your petrol car can power your house - by doing taxi work and then using the money to pay utility company.

Yes - its by saying.. but its possible. and its not so hard to run test l3+ with test on 24-48h with chosen XMR coin be paid. Difference very small. So You with l3+ can work and mine XMR (NOT DIRECTLY) but no matter how - if its still profitable and can do it - you can.
Scrypt not scrypt - asic or not.. Possible YES! and almost price go like with GPU directly.
Everything is possible

Yeah, but by that definition mining bitcoin is possible by growing apples. Indeed, orchards are very profitable right now, etc, etc....
