Hi

An update regarding bounty payments.

I have started paying out bounty rewards as some of you know.
This is a slow process and I have to do everything manually.

Although it has already been a long time please understand that it will probably take another week to pay everyone.

Here are instructions for each campaign for you to claim bounty

Signature:
I have paid out most people for this.
There are sill people who haven't claimed yet.
If you were part of the signature campaign you need to

1) pm my forum account with your BetKing username
AND
2) pm me on the BetKing chat with your Bitcointalk username.
I will then tip you BKB.

Translations:
All but two people have been paid.
To claim reward
1) pm my forum account with your BetKing username
AND
2) pm me on the BetKing chat with your Bitcointalk username.
I will then tip you BKB.

Twitter bounties:
Most of the linked Twitter accounts were either bots or people multiaccounting.
I checked all your Twitter posts, followers, following etc, score.
I also checked everyones IP addresses, browser fingerprint and if on VPN/TOR etc.

There were over a thousand bot or multiaccounts that were banned.

If you were eligible you would have received an email to the address you sigend up with on the old bounty site.

There are still over 170 accounts that need to claim. I've paid many more.
To claim
1) Create a new account on https://betking.io (your bounty.betking.io account will NOT work)
2) pm me on the BetKing chat
I will then tip you BKB if your email address matches the one I sent to.

Bug bounties:
From around April until September there were a lot of people that reported bugs.
I will be going through all chats and will be in touch this week and next with details on how to claim.
If you reported a bug please pm me or email admin@betking.io with details to speed up the process.

Blog/article/videos:
People who posted blogs or articles will be contacted this week or next with details on how to claim.
If you just copied and pasted the text from translation threads and pasted on a blog that no one visits then you will not get reward.

Facebook:
Facebook was cancelled in the first week and there are no rewards for Facebook.

Payments:
Understand that I stated many times that the campaign was cancelled early, 5 weeks early, and that the total reward would NOT be 1% of BKB tokens.
I have paid each campaign an amount I think is fair.
If you think your reward was low, please remember that there were thousands of accounts to split the tokens between.

Finally, sorry for the very long delay.
There was a lot of work to be done to get the site launched in time and also to distribute tokens to buyers and allow withdraw to wallets/exchange.

I will try to make sure everyone who participated in the bounties is paid within a week. Again, this is a manual process.

In the mean time feel free to come and try the new site for free by claiming our Bitcoin faucet https://betking.io
If you have any suggestions to improve the site let me know and if you find any bugs let me know. There will be rewards for new reports.

Thanks

Dean

Betting volume has come to a halt in the last few days. I remember looking at the website
nearly a week ago and then Betking had roughly 23 BTC in site profit (only counting
the BTC wagers, I don´t follow ETH and LTC wagers). Today the site profit is roughly at the
same level.

Where have all the whales gone? Is the main reason for the decline in betting turnover the really
high BTC value? Who wants to wager 1 BTC or more when it is already more than 6000$ per
Bitcoin?

The same guy who wants to win that $6k Tongue
"The old" BetKing had a large fluctuation in monthly wagered too, whales drop by only once in a while. But BetKing no longer has the highest max bet in the industry to lure in the whales.

It seems there has been decline in wager/bets almost on every gambling sites(https://dicesites.com/graphs). the reason indeed is bitcoin price/rally.
betking re-opened last month, probably more advertisements/time is required to get gamblers on betking.

Twitter bounties will be start to be paid today.

If you were eligible you will receive an email in the next 24 hours to the email address you signed up to the bounty site with.

If you didn't create an account on https://betking.io using this email you will need to create a new account or you won't get paid.

BKB will be paid into your https://betking.io account.

If you do not receive the email, and it's not in your spam folder, then you were not eligible due to either multi accounting or having a known spam or bot twitter account.

Only accounts that earned 500 or more BKB will be credited.

There is no appeal for this, there were over 1200 accounts that were multi-accounting.

Sorry for the delay.

Dean

THat is just a pity that there were people trying to abuse the bounty even for the twitter ones. Surely if the facebook bounty was not cancelled, then it could have been abused as well.

Yeah, there is a lot of greedy people that abuses social media bounties because they have mulitple accounts. Some of them are professionals that are too hard to caught. By the way, I was too late to join betking bounties, congrats to all the participants. im sure the project is a big success. Good luck.

Kinda disappointed with my BKB token value, my investment got cut in half almost immediately
With the current hitbtc price, I can get around 0.27BTC for my 0.5BTC investment
The discount didn't help at all either
I invested 0.5BTC * 4596.8 = 2298.4$
6,497,165.94 / 70 000 000 = 0.0928166562857143$

2298.4/0,0928166562857143= 24762,79680798794 tokens

I got 24584.14425772 with the 15% discount
Shouldn't I get more not less?  Cheesy Cheesy

No.

Check this to see how distribution works
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KP7vs67GLa0M0fKC96Wb2F2xvKFkNFAXLhQYQMv4DEs/edit?usp=sharing

You will see that 15% discount gets tokens at a price of $0.0935
What you were looking at is average price.

Also, I don't know why you care about the price on hitbtc, the real price, as shown on the BetKing website, is $0.0946

I know that's the avg price, just didn't know so many people got in with the 25% discount :O

Still down with that price  Cheesy
That's around 2300$, which would be 0.388BTC
Still, hoping for profits  since the casinos has the BTC so it will turn more $$$ Cool

How is the price calculated on your site?  If they are half price on hitBTC seems like a no brainer to purchase them.

How is the price calculated on your site?  If they are half price on hitBTC seems like a no brainer to purchase them.
The site price is the buyback price, which is calculated via the following:

Token Price = (Initial Funds Raised) / 70,000,000 + (Site Profit) / 100,000,000
The difference between the site and hitBTC is that one can dump all their coins on hitBTC, whereas the site has buyback periods in which you resell up to 10% of your on-site BKB tokens.

The first buyback period begins Dec 4, so if you want to sell your tokens, you want to have them deposited into the site before then.

It should get you into something profitable after sonetime. The buyback price is relying on the profit of the site afterall

It's also more or less a hedge against Bitcoin price drops, as BetKing's buyback price is set in dollars. Bitcoin's recent price surge does the opposite: it pushes altcoins down, and (in Bitcoin) gamblers wager less.

I didn't think of that but sure there is a significant wager amount if we look at it in bitcoin wager. Though the dollar value is almost the same in almost all known sites.

Fee calculation is still broken I believe. I just made a withdraw with the fee displayed as 0.0002BTC with no option to change it, and the withdraw was sent with 20 satoshis/byte which is quite low for the current state of the network, as bitcoinfees.21.co estimates that it will take 4-97 blocks for a confirmation. I'm fine with a low fee withdraw as I don't need the funds urgently, but it would be nice if you could add a higher fee option for those who need it quickly.

Also, any specific reason you aren't using Segwit addresses?

taking a break - expect delayed responses
