Problem is we can't trust anyone with our Bitcoins, because of anonymous nature, there is no way we can trace him back and ask our money. He ran contest for World Cup because he knew, it was the best time for him if he want to run away.

We at DirectBet sympathies with those of you who apparently lost their deposits and investments with the disappearance of BitcoinLiveBets.com
To date, there hasn't been a single cryptocurrency Sportsbook that we are aware of, which ceased operation gracefully and honored all withdrawal requests.
All the Bitcoin Sportsbooks that were closed in the past, with no exceptions, ran away with users deposits, and every time that happened, it hampered the reputation of the Bitcoin sports betting industry as a whole. (Note : Bitbook did pay out its users for several days after closing, but not all of them).
The purpose of this post is not to spread salt on the wounds of those affected but rather to raise the point that in today's new virtual currency era, there is absolutely no need for a Sportsbook to take deposits and hold your coins while they are not wagered.
The "My Account" -> "Deposit" type of wagering belongs to the 90s.
Today, you can bet with your coins and keep them safe in your wallet under your control while they are not in a wager.
No longer do you need to park your valuable coins on 3rd party websites and hope that they will be there when you need them.
DirectBet, stop advertising your site at every chance you get, this is totally the wrong platform. People have lost coins here and they did not ask for your advice. I do admire your site but everywhere you go to advertise, have some dignity please.

Yes because 10 days are enough time but he is not responding mean he is now not coming back and run away with all investments

I am very, very angry right now. I had 47 people join bitcoinlivebets via their banner on my site at www.bitcoinpunter.comNo doubt a good few of them have now been shafted. When I think of how I have defended them on this forum when people were trying to take advantage of some errors on their livebetting section a while back and once even offered to grade bets for them for nothing to help out when they were struggling I feel betrayed. I asked Anton in a personal message what was happening a couple of days after the site vanished and I told him I wouldn't publish his reply....I stuck to that promise but as it is now obvious nobody is getting the bitcoin owed to them, including me, I have no qualms about revealing the conversation. I received this one first: Hello tonyq,
whatever will happen we would try to send you your balance. Please provide us your current address so we can send the amount in parts. I think you are a honest guy and you should not suffer when we have problems. So I sent it, I then got two payments, one of 0.05 and one of 0.06, a day apart...The first payment came with this message: Hi tonyq,
at first I sent you 0.05 BTC. I know its not much but a start. We probably have to close the page completely because of a license problem. But apart from that it was really hard to run a page like this. DDoS threats everywhere, buggy odds from our provider, server problems, expensive odds data... I am very sad about it but actually I had to know this when I started this page. I will be take care to send you more of your balance. I got no message with the second small payment and despite emailing him three times now nothing else has happened in the last 9 days so I am writing off what I'm owed as it's obvious nothing more will be forthcoming. I was originally owed 0.489 and that is now 0.379 (that I will never see again).....I know others are owed a lot more. There is 10 bitcoin in their wallet so if I'm getting no more, I feel sure the rest of you poor sods are getting absolutely nothing. To run a contest during the World Cup knowing full well you would not be paying the winners despite them betting big in order to get to the top of the prize list is unforgiveable. All I can say is....Fuck you Anton. I hope you get your Karma.

Why didn't they just send the full balance owed? Sounds like they don't have the coin to send back to everyone, again. Don't think anyone would be stupid enough to invest this time so they can pay back the BTC they owe.

This is lame. I was owed about 0.4 and was so close to withdrawing a few weeks before but figured I would keep it in to keep trying out the site. Big mistake!

There were warning signs bitcoinlivebets is a very shaky book. They have problems on almost a daily basis and automation is never fully working. Each person has different reasons for playing at a book. I think that bitcoinlivebets is at the top of the list of the next book to go under although I hope it's not the case. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448302.0 for book ratings. Sorry to hear about those owed money from bitcoinlivebets. It's so annoying to see the 10 bitcoin just sitting there in their wallet while people are not getting what they are owed. They've also not logged in here for 11 days now and probably never will again. I don't know how they sleep at night.

In case you are looking for new books here are some ratings:
Warning !Peeps Place "ratings guide" is not a true ratings guide. It's a disguised paid advertisement for Anonibet.
Anonibet is paying him to promote them in forums, and he is doing so by "rating" them on top of all books, regardless of feature set or public opinion.
Books that declined to pay Peeps Place after repeated hustling attempts were ranked at the bottom.
Don't be fooled. The proof is here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=393147.msg7714802#msg7714802

Yes, and the trend goes on, the same bitcoinlive bets will come back as coinlivebets , with litttle more incentives from the stolen coins, and everyone will run to him...

Unfortunately, I feel that you are right. The same has happened with the cash books. They go under and open under a different brand. Some of the bitcoin books are run by cash book owners that stole our money. These crooks are entering the bitcoin market and it's very risky playing at new books. Many of the current books that are open will go under in the near future.

Maybe op went to jail for some unrelated offense? With BTC10 worth about $5,857 I'd expect a scammer to have withdrawn at some point.
