For now the market is completely down and you should really buy monero (xmr), lisk, dash and obviously ether always. These coins are currently leading the altcoin market. With xmr I'm having good deal as I bought it at 27 usd when it was baby. Lols. That made me great firtunecin the recent months. The only mantra was to keep it for long period of time. Others coins are now good opportunity as they will synchronise the market cap soon and grow.

Other than this I'm focusing on all new coin that social coin which you can checkout into my signature right now. They official ICO going on with highest money raised ever by any ICO in short period of time. That's going to be successful for sure.

It should be Ripples and waves for me in altcoins. There are many coins that appears but these two coins are the coins that only i know in altcoins. Since this is altcoin discussion these are the coins that were known in altcoins so I just prefer these coins. And for me this are the coins that best to buy. But over all just choose bitcoins, altcoins and ethereums to be general.

I think it's safer to buy old established altcoins. There's a lot of ICO's every now and then, and most of them are just like bubbles. I've tried to invest in different altcoins and most of it were not worth it. Investing should be accompanied with careful study. It is risky but if it is done will knowledge it can be profitable.

I guess currently ripple, monero, NEM are the one which would be best option to buy. The prices of all these coins are low due to the dip but they will emerge as the prices go high and these coins have the potential to give anyone a handsome profit like in a week or so. the best coins to buy is always bitcoin  because bitcoin have a big chance to be increase more than now. but in altcoin, i am sure that there is many altcoin that we can buy and i think every coins is worth to buy and hold for a long term. but for me, i am still holding nem, waves, xrp, ltc, eth, xmr, and 5 more of coins. its depend on what you want to do with the coins, do you want to trade for short term or long term because if you want for short term, you don't have to wait for long time and you can directly sell when the price is increase. but if you want to hold for a long term, then no matter how much the price, you only buy and hold until some period and then you will decide in how much you want to sell.

The last Two days were the best time to buy cryptos in the recent days.Coins like BTC, ETH, NEO, LTC, BCH, DGB had gone down and it would be the best time to buy them especially Bitcoin. As the ban of ICOs in China has made most of the cryptos to go down it has created a huge impact on the market. I am sorry but i dont think that Ethereum Classic is a good option right now. It has been freezed between $14 and $16 since july. how do you say it is a profitable coin? it does not even move, their marketcap is invisible, cause there are no movements in its price, only a few cents down, or up a day.
Regarding to the question, i recommend buying some 0x right now, 0.25$ each one and it can easily go to $0.50 in a few weeks
