How does bitcointalk calculate your activities in the forum?

Does it depend on your post or the comments you make on other people's post?

or the total time you spend in a day?

I'm asking this because my friend has 72 posts but is given only 42 activities whilst another has 16 posts and is given 16 activities.

Please shares your thoughts.

Not entirely sure. But I think posts are counted as an activity after a certain period of time.

If your friend made 30 posts today, it may not show up as an activity until tomorrow. It's likely a minor anti-spam measure.

activities and ranking doesn't go hand in hand. It is updated every few hours and the ranking is updated every 14 days.. so you'll have to be patient and wait
