I thought this event would not be such a big deal and things would be the way it was but I guess I was wrong. The ban of ICOs in China had such a huge impact on bitcoin's and altcoin's prices. Most of the coins lost its value. I think the investors sold all of their coins to not suffer from huge losses and thats why bitcoin and altcoins had a huge drop in price. Many people including me took this opportunity as an advantage and made good money on those fluctuations. Bitcoin had fluctuations frequently. People were buying and selling all over.

I think it's good for the future of bitcoin, but it will have a lot of bad impact for the world of the world, many have stopped working in the real world and working the world of cryptocoin, of course they will be at a disadvantage, so the new rules will have good or bad impact

I'm sure people are monitoring the price and this event, kinda different from all the events or news from the past but I'm sure Bitcoin will get back for sure we have been to this so many times before what makes this different is the government of China now showing restrictions

Chinese government recognized all of ICOs are illegal, all of related platforms must stop offering services for ICO projects,it seems that is just a start, the regulation of ctyptocurrency is on the way.
Some ICOs refund to their investors already, but this event has an effect on cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, the prices droped seriously.
How do you think of that? Good or bad?

I think the Chinese government's decision to ban ico has little effect because China is one of the world's economic powers, maybe if china knows the development of the government's crypto will change their policy, that's my opinion

It is been in forum news about this china move to banned of ICO.. First maybe they're just using it to lower the price of bitcoin and other altcoin to spread panic selling.. Second I don't have foresee big impact of this happening to bitcoin itself.. And lastly,, china has own decisions to make for the welfare of its people let just respect that.. You might've bought some bitcoin now,, as it still much cheaper than the past few days..

Bitcoin has always been tricky business in China. In the early days, it was really difficult to set up crypto-currency exchanges. So many of the exchanges moved to other jurisdictions such as Hong Kong and Macau. But now the Chinese government is a bit more accommodating. They are allowing mega Bitcoin mining farms and several exchanges to operate legally.

Good on China... they aren't banning crypto currency, they're protecting their citizens from getting scammed by pump and dump ICOs.

BS, The Chinese government could care less about their citizens. They are trying to protect their local currency < Renminbi > from taking too many knocks. The investments into ICO's are currency leaving China and they see this as a form of capital flight.

Do not be fooled by the Chinese political decisions. They know how to exploit their own people and this is not done to protect them. ^grrrrrrr^

yes it will happen, because it can not be denied that most of the investors come from China. hopefully its effect on bitcoin is not too big, so not too down its value .

Why the price of bitcoin is suffering the most? Shouldn't be ethereum to be dumped because the majority of the ICO are funded with ETH tokens?
I agree with the fact that the prices will be high in no time.

Blame the scammers and greedy corporations for that, they were out of line, literally selling nothing to people and millions of dollars were escaping from their country, imagine when a pussy wanted to get jumped she would've launched an ICO saying that she would like to get jumped but before jumping her we all should buy her "pussy jumper" tokens. lol while it was only a troll behind the computer promising to deliver a jump worthy pussy in the next 18 years, yes she wasn't born yet but her pimp was selling her in an ICO. I'd kill any body invested in such scam and illegal shits but they just banned them.

Another stunt from Chinese to cause a massive panic sell out, instead of giving them what they want be smart and keep calm, nothing will happen if you don't dump.

To be very honest, I was waiting for such a move. It is not very surprising from China because they have already done stunts like this in the past like in 2013. What I think is the massive investments of local currency in unregulated ICOs forced Chinese government to take this step. Well, I am as cool as I was last week. This storm will also pass.

You know what dude, you are damn right. It is nothing new from China and now they are planning to resume ICOs again with some sort of licensing regulations. Some people are also saying that China has banned exchanges but it hasn't yet. You see, humans like making fuss out of nothing.

I would say good in the long run but a indefinite ban is no good though! Hopefully the government take sufficient time required and sort out all the regulations.

the falling bitcoin price can be good news and bad news because for those who want to sell its bitcoin of course it is bad news but for people who want to buy of course it is very profitable because it can buy bitcoin at low procedure

Chinese is just one part of bitcoin supporters all over the world and though it affected so much on the value of cryotocurrencies right now, i believe it is going to regain back it's value. There are still part or countries who are not yet open to crypto and news about it are almost everywhere so i believe those countries who have not yet tried and put their hands into the business will be soon there.
