This whole topic is so ridiculous I'm amazed that someone had the nuts to start a discussion again. I could understand bitcoin death topics during the great depression, like the one in 2015, but now? The price is up by over $4000 since last year and there are still people who say it's bad, that we are going to lose money on bitcoin. Unbelievable!

Omg this bs again. If you can't handle it leave. Get out. Dump all your Bitcoin and never come back. Moan moan moan. Yes Bitcoin went down so what it's been up higher then it's ever been even if it stops it's still worth alot. Just good in there and wait it's obvious that's going to go back up so take advantage of this like all the cover people are buying and let the whiners cry. They have no money anyway who cares what think ?

People will continue to make a topic like this one even when Bitcoin lost 10$ in the value. Not only this forum but medias/blogs as well, related or not to crypto doesn't matter. As for medias/blogs, this is how they get their traffic, their money. You can expect that the OP was just seeking attention as well

At the moment it is just another dump, which happens frequently. Still it should have happened, because bitcoin raising really fast and price correction should have been done. I guess it is still not the end and bitcoin will fall back to 3500$ or maybe more.

2 years ago, a lot of people will fall into that trap. But I think right now, we are wiser and do not easily fall on fud and bitcoin is dead claims. Or we are already immune to bitcoin large dips and we just shrug it off. My point is, we know that bitcoin always recover when the price falls and we are now a lot calmer when it happens.

Is this the beginning of the death of Bitcoin? Well, the topic is now resurrecting again now that Bitcoin just experienced one of the biggest bloodbaths ever in its trading history. And this the trend right now for the whole cryptocurrency market...we are seeing waves of red all over.
No wonder the FUD community is now having a fiesta...they think that this can be the start of the end of the world...I mean the end of Bitcoin and that it can crashed soon towards the $100 price.
Are they kidding me?
I wonder what does end of bitcoin they are talking about, is it event where bitcoin would be no longer exist ? Or is it about to lose its popularity and would have no value ? We could not already consider it as the end just because it crashed down towards the certain value as long as we can see its existense it is not the end yet . By the way, Let other people make a predictions or speculations and if you believed them then you are only kidding yourself .

That's bullshit. Bitcoin dropped in price because of China banning ICOs which resulted in chinese poeple panic sell their bitcoin to fiat. However if you see the charts,Bitcoin is recovering the dump gradually. Bitcoin cannot die even if the price goes down, there will always be people that wills till have faith on it.Only 1 thing can kill bitcoin.Disabling Internet, which is technically impossible.

Been around long enough to know not to heed any news regarding China. Proven flaws within BTC are another thing. FUD is only FUD. 1 BTC will always be worth 1 BTC.

It seems to me that the Chinese government reacts very quickly to the fact that it flies past me to the money. As far as I understand Chinese politics, the Chinese government has always wanted to control any business and any activity, while taking the percentage of their income.

Is at all possible that we just saw huge growth, maybe it was a little too much and it is just going back to normal again? I highly doubt this is the end of Bitcoin. I think we will see more people take the chance on it now that it is worth so much per coin.

The death of bitcoin is a pure myth and just a new kind of title that is worth with all those blogging website that is so in need of traffic for their advertisement. There is no way that bitcoin will die because of this correction in price, it reaches $5,000 mark though so why in the world that bitcoin will die. Maybe the trading bots is the culprit behind this but bitcoin will not die.

I don't even call it a crash if it's less than 50%. This is actually about the smallest correction I have seen called a crash. I have watched it go from about $700 to about $250. Now that's a proper crash. as long as we have a speculation based economy we should expect periodic drops of over 50%. When we reach $2000, then we have crashed.

Bitcoin has already died a few thousand + times!!!But that is ok because it is like a phoenix and just comes back to life! Not really, it hasn't died. Sure it may have been less used and a lower price for awhile. Peaks and valleys, ups and downs. I think price will go down further in the coming weeks, then go right back to break another all time high. It is here to stay.

Apparently bitcoin has already died many times according to weak news sources which want to get attention for a few minutes up to a few hours. Bitcoin is stronger than ever, its wide usage in different purposes keeps it as strong as possible. Backed by the gambling industry as the major supporter of Bitcoin I don't see any reason why bitcoin should die anytime soon.

I think price will go down further in the coming weeks, then go right back to break another all time high. It is here to stay. It is slowly recovering now, $44xx from almost $4xxx just a couple of days ago. So sorry to tell that bitcoin will not die because the Chinese ban ICO. Its really actually good for the bitcoin market. People are doing the opposite now, panic buying. I'm expecting in the next couple of days bitcoin will be back to $4500-$5000 again. FUD waves will be quiet again, until their is a 'crash' in their opinion. This is just a minor price correction and the market has reacted. Instead of selling, they are getting back bitcoin because its really a perfect time for investors to buy in this dip. So another unsuccessful attempt to make bitcoin is like dying now. LOL.

No bitcoin will not become death. Even the bitcoin price decreased today but it will increased again after few hourd and for sure it will increase more. Bitcoin will live long and many people use bitcoin in the future. They have possible bitcoin price will go back again at 100 dollars but I think not this years or not even next year maybe in the net few years or decade but its better if the price will increase.

Things are fine, bitcoin is not going to die for something so small, everything is back to normal, what is making a comeback is the FUD nothing more, the death of bitcoin has been prophesied thousands of times and yet bitcoin is still here.
