The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

The Bitcoins are still on the adress 1Fy1AwqEkXesQAuuzX8LXpiR9UU4xTwDV9 , so you could export the private keys and import them somewhere else (like a Blockchain.info wallet https://blockchain.info/de/wallet/ ).
When all your Bitcoins are at the other wallet, you could reinstall the client to fix the mess and send the coins to your fixed client.

Here is a guide to export the keys from Multibit: https://multibit.org/help_exportingPrivateKeys.html

There may be easier ways to do so, but I'm sure this would work.

Easy.

Get your private key for that address and import it to another client like Armory or blockchain.info.

Buy a TREZOR! Premier BTC hardware wallet. If you're reading this, you should probably buy one if you don't already have one. You'll thank me later.
