Coindesk Explains Huge Potential in Gambling & Cryptos Coindesk: National Economics, Gambling and Cryptocurrency: A Perfect Storm?
While gambling with cryptocurrencies has been around since the early days of bitcoin (and is expected to grow strongly as customers get more comfortable with the concept), an interesting twist appears to be emerging from platform tokens.
Combine these trends with national legislation and economic strategy, and you begin to see a fundamental shift that has the potential to transform a massive segment of the leisure economy. eSports betting platform Unikrn got an online gambling license from Malta. This enables it to offer real-money betting to most of Europe, and token-based betting to the rest.
What makes this noteworthy is the platform’s new crypto token. A couple of years ago, the company created a platform-only digital token to enable users to place bets on the outcomes of games such as League of Legends. The new version, however, will run on the ethereum blockchain.
This means that it can be traded between players, sold on an exchange and converted to fiat money in many jurisdictions. It also points to the emergence of a community of developers that in theory could extend its utility by creating additional apps and add-ons. (This is similar to what we can do.)
While this is interesting for eSports betting sites such as Unikrn, it could be especially compelling for other cryptocurrency startups.

Compared To Other Projects Gnosis raised $12.5 million in April 2017 and they still have not released a game yet. Their website still states:
The Hunch Game is nearly ready and can be launched in the first half of 2017 as an example Gnosis app. Augur raised $5 million near the beginning of 2015, stacked their team with 13 members and 7 advisors (including Vitalik Buterin). After 2.5 years, they only have a simple beta demo for testing. StockBet’s app already has more features.
Wagerr raised $10 million to do sports betting. There is still no game, no prototype nor app.
We have not raised a cent yet and we already have an app that you can use on thousands of stocks, ETFs and now on CryptoCurrencies!

Proven Ability to Develop As you might have noticed, most other new projects cannot prove that they can develop. They fill their team with many people who have no experience in coding or even the business that they want to enter, in order to make their team look big. They provide a Github link, but you cannot run the software to confirm its quality or usefulness. They give themselves fancy titles, such as as CTO, but they’ve never managed developers before.

Make A Bet Campaign  UNIQUE bounty: Make a bet on BullBear, tell others to take on your bet, have fun and get tokens.

Any round that you join or host should start 24 hours or more later.
- Get the URL of your round (example: https://stockbet.com/#/BullBear/round/17939)
- Post this URL on Bitcointalk's Altcoin Discussion forum, Facebook, Twitter or crypto-related site and tell others to take on your bet. Your posts should occur 24 hours before the round starts. Note that you must tell others to take on your bet. Then post the URL of your posting to our announcement thread (stockbet.com/ann), so that we can count them.
- There is a bounty of 400 tokens for each post on Bitcointalk's Altcoin Discussion forum, 300 tokens for each post on a crypto related site and 200 tokens for each post/tweet on Facebook or Twitter.
- There is a daily maximum bounty of three posts per BullBear round for the Bitcointalk's Altcoin Discussion forum, one post per BullBear round for the crypto-related site, Facebook and Twitter. There is a maximum of two rounds per day. Example: On one day, you can post BullBear round 10000 on Bitcointalk's Altcoin Discussion forum three times, on a crypto-related site once, on Facebook once and on Twitter once. On the same day, you can repeat this for round 10001. Of course, you can post more times than this, but the bounty is limited as described.
