It's important to note the 1 coin per block period after the genesis was hashed. That evens out the distribution somewhat to prevent early adopters from crashing the markets at a moments notice, especially when you compare it to some of the high initial reward (yet quickly decreasing) algorithms we have been seeing of late.

I would rather know about a pre-mine than not, it's obviously very easy to adjust the reward algorithms so a dev can mine a ton without anyone really knowing what happened or any expectations of those rewards being used for anything but personal trade.

Me and waylon531 were making a USC (americoin) as a semi-joke
The site: www.americoin.pw
Never finished development though and I guess releasing it wouldn't help anyone that much

That's interesting as someone posted a link on here yesterday to Americoin source, then deleted their thread and started another one trying to warn people off with a virus message. Funny thing is that is seems to be complete with graphics and no viruses. Difficulty is easy and there are very few people on it. Some people must have noticed this as they has been some talk on the BTC-e chatbox.

Is this your Scrypt Americoin?

Someone else was talking about creating a SHA-256 Americoin. If this is a different Americoin from what palm12341 is talking about then there could be four different USCoin/Americoin block chains out there Smiley

Homeland security raid in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...

OP nothing a government hates more is when you play in their pool.  Best to keep clear of an country specific branded digital coins lest you want to get into a legal battle with said nation.

lol, where has the 'US' part of the name been defined?... I suggest you look into the *actual* reasons why the 'liberty dollar' was taken down by the FBI. Little hint, the two letters 'US' are no more incriminating than 'BT' is.

Yes, Homeland Security often plays by their own rules but your misunderstanding of their motivations is rather funny.

I would like to see a draft of this case as you think it would be presented to a court.

Here you go. This is the thread where the chap says it was a virus after deleting his thread. He says he left a computer logged into this site on shared hosting. Let this be a lesson to us all. Leave your computer logged in and someone is bound to launch a coin with your account Smiley When connecting there were two nodes up. Both of which were on the east coast of America, I was kind of hoping that they would be in China  Tongue

Whne has homeland security ever had to bring anything to court.  I'm sorry but all it takes is some politician to get a hair up his arse and an excuse.  Rule of law has failed in the US, so it doesn't matter why or how, only that they can and will.
