hello.

I have an antminer s5 system that keeps giving me an odd error.

I can hook up the the second hash board and it only displays "----"   instead of "0000" .   I don't think power is an issue,   but I notice that the red light on the second board doesn't turn on like the first.   Could it just be burned up and useless?

Thanks,

Ben

You are better off asking BitMain support or using their tech guide.

Could be a loose connection from the hashboard to the controller board.

 Could be a dead hashboard.

Hard to tell with the very minimal info you have provided.

If its not something loose, sending it for repair would prob be more expensive than getting a new one. They're kind of obsoleted now, and over the last 2 years half my S5 boards died partially of fully. Might be better off trying to get an A6.
