I use gambling only to be entertained and when I'm bored. Using gambling when you are worrying, in trouble or in grief won't help, it might worsen your situation especially when you lost a game. Better stay out of gambling when you are experiencing bad emotions even if it is for fun.

I don't gamble now just for the entertainment value. There were times that I gamble when I'm bored too but I don't gamble when I'm in trouble. That will only add another problem that I've been dealing with if I'm on the loose and will gamble by that time. I don't want to let my gambling activity affected by gambling because it will just get worse.

There are some people keep on playing gambling because they seek joy, they seek happiness and they seek enjoyment because of all their worries, problems and stress in life that they don't know where did they seek the key and the answers on their problems. I also feel that OP, i always go to gambling whenever i feel bored, lonely and when i have so much free time i don't know what to do. That's why i always come back to gambling even i lose much money on it. Tbh it's a really bad habbit and i need to stop it right now but it's really hard to do.

Yes, the reason why I gamble sometime is just to have fun and to escape from the real world and of course to make money but I have to admit that the happines that gambling brings wont last for long and I steel end up loosing and broke so I think gambling is not a good idea for your loneliness.

That is a terrible reason to gamble, that is no different than those that drink in order to forget about their troubles and we know what happens to people like that instead of escaping their problems they only generate even more problems for themselves and their families.

The very first thing happen with the every gambler including me is started with the reason to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness and grief or lose all of it in every moment when you try for gambling. Most of the people come out of the habit of gambling which the started. But few people addict of gambling.

While winning can make you feel better during hard times, losses can depress you further.
It's a gamble to gamble during depression and hard times. I would rather not take this gamble and do something safer to drive away my agony/mental pain.
As for boredom, as far as you're gambling what you're ready to loose, you will always drive away boredom, its a great way to deal with it if you are into gambling. I still find myself betting faucets/ playing poker with game money just to pass some time.

I do gambling games when I feel bored or sad and that's all I do for fun, if I play my mind and my boredom becomes lost and will become a pleasure. because in my opinion by playing gambling my mind focus on playing gambling.

I haven't been doing it for that reasons. I guess it will worsen the situation if you loose in gambling. However, there are really people who will do it. Maybe because they can express it through gambling and they'll feel better. I think the usual reason among the rest listed is boredom. They play to enjoy and interact with others.

When life closes the gates on you, it makes you feel like you have nothing to lose, it can be really danagerous to start gambling at that life status.

im not addicted to gambling at all but i do gamble on some time because i just want to try if i can possibly double up my remaining balance on my bitcoin wallet and i believe there were also people who gamble not because they are addicted to it but because they want to earn a profit out of it. however most of the gamblers i know such as my friends and nieghbors are said they are just gambling because they are bored and to past the time.

None of the OP’s suggested reasons applies in my case. My view is people who gamble for such reasons, with the exception of boredom are addicted to it. Everyone gets difficulties in life and I don’t think that gambling is the way out, although I understand that this can be difficult for some to understand if they are in that situation.  I feel it’s very dangerous territory when people turn to gambling as a way of filling a void in their social life.

You are completely wrong , there some people who gamble for the sake of entertainment as they know it is the real gambling.
When you do gamble for profit only i think there is something wrong on you.
People usually gamble because they don't know what to do to spend their spare time and once gambking crossed in your mind , you will straight to go for it.

same here, i only play gambling just because im bored and i want to past the time. i dont really care at all if loose or win because that isnt my priority in the first place but if i do win then ive always decided to limit myself and i make sure that i dont go overboard in order for me too secure some of my winnings. im also addicted to online games on the past but ever since i discovered online gamlbing using cryptos i find it really addcitive and fun due to the fact that you are using a virual currency without real money involved.

I so rarely post here in the gambling section, as it's a cesspool of degenerate gamblers and shitposters, with no hope whatsoever of redemption or reform--but I totally gotta answer here.  My thing isn't casino gambling or even crypto dice sites, as most of that shit is illegal where I live (thanks, US).  But I've gotten caught up in shitcoin trading before, and yes it was to alleviate all of those things, mostly boredom. 

That's how it goes for most gamblers, I'd say, just like alcoholics start drinking socially, with friends--and then it progresses to blackout drunkenness alone in the bathroom, with vomit splattered everywhere and no memory of the previous 72 hours...you know how it goes.  All of this shit begins innocently and then goes horribly awry.  That's why I don't currently gamble with crypto, or even crap like scratch tickets.  Way too addictive.

I don't think it's the best if you just want to pay money to kill your boredom, you could easily play a video game or a game on your phone without necessarily paying and loosing some money for nothing. Entertainment can be free without you having to pay  for them so don't use gambling as an excuse to loose money.

No but i know some who does. Sometimes they lose out ot track in life, lose hope and they just want their lives to be ruined totally. They drink alcohol, drugs, women at gambling. They dont want to plan anymore they just want to forget their demise so they spend time in gabling that would amuse them and forget.
