Due to large losses, I cannot run  the Goldcoin pool as a PPS pool anymore.
  
STARTING 7/15 this pool will change over to Proportional with a 1.5% fee

Unfortunately it looks like I have lost about 120K GLD since the PPS mine opened.  

The amount of miners and hash rate is just too low to support a PPS pool.  

I will reconsider changing back to PPS when Goldcoin has grown enough to support a PPS pool.

Nobody will need to do anything, I will just switch the payout method to Proportional and it will be transparent. No need to re-register, the balances in your accounts will remain.

There will be 5 confirms to payout, just to ensure pay out does not occur on a orphan block.

The Goldcoin pool has been switched over to proportional. All your account information has been transferred. Account balances have been manually switched over from the PPS pool and will show up as 'Credit_PPS' in your account transactions.

I have set the pool at 0 confirms. This means I will take the chance on orphans.

I am going to bring down the Craft coin pool for awhile.

I am going to update it to the current software version.

I am also going to change it over to Proportional for the near future.

I cannot support a PPS pool with the current hash rate. I was also lucky in that most people stopped mining as with PPS I could have been really taken to the cleaners the last couple of days.

dreamwatcher, for crying out loud, could you please increase a logout period on your GLD pool to at least 6 hours? I'm tired of constant logins every fucking 30 minutes! I check the pool, some time later (anything more than 30 minutes I suppose) I check again — I need to log in. I log in, check the pool, then come back in 1-2 hour — I need to log in again. This process repeats, and repeats, and repeats... Even with a password manager it's still a useless bother. Why other pools can keep me logged in for weeks or at least days and yours can't? PLEASE!

120 confirms until enough miners use the pool. I will then move funds into the pool and reduce the confirms.

Goldcoin pool is temporary shut down

Over the last couple of days, I have been receiving more and more complaints about shares not being paid. I am shutting down the mining portion of the pool, but the website will remain up for people to withdrawal coins on account.

I am going to move the pool to a different server and again update the front end to the latest version before reopening for mining.

Goldcoin Pool:

I have 16 users that did not leave a payout address, so I will be emailing them for an address to send coins to.

I am kind of disappointed to see the network hash rate drop so much when my pool shut down yesterday.

I am in the works of setting up a new pool on a new server. This will have the most recent version of pool software, which has some pretty nice features.

I am setting up on a VPS I have hardly used, but kept because I get such a good deal on it. This will allow me to shut down the VPS cryptocoinmine was on, which was rather expensive.

Re-registering will be necessary because of the SQL attacks. E-mail verification upon registration will also be turned on.

Sorry about this, but it will stop or at least greatly slow down any future attacks.

The extra security is due to the attempted SQL injection attack on the last pool.

The LP port has been changed to 3333 that stratum port remains 2020.
