Yes, some update would be really useful to keep some community around the coin. Nowadays it is easy to form a new community, but it is also easy to see it dissolve if you don't feed it with news.

I would agree, especially now when there are so many choices for an investor in crypto.  There are thousands of alts so the ones that aren't being actively developed and engaged in by the dev seem to lose the support of the community as their interest goes elsewhere where that is actually happening.

I would also like to see some development in regard to this project. It would really be a shame to lose a community like this.

I really believe that most of us here are for long haul and that is playing nicely with dev claims of taking time to do the job right and not loosing time on marketing and new exchanges at this point in the project. But the time has come for dev to give us at least some more info about re branding

Yes, despite all the lack of news, I do like love this Howl community, even though we don't exactly know if we will see something or not. The fact that we all check if there's any progress and talk and wonder about it does make it like a nice little community.

So you love the community. So what, does that give the token any value - no it does not. Only development from a dev gives value.

I love the little drama, the story, it has been entertaining in a sense. I wasn't talking about value.

I have sold all my tokens at the very beginning for 0.8 ETH , invested them into other project and received from that one X10 profit already. But you are still waiting. Poor people

You keep talking about the price, when I'm talking about the little history. Like I said, I like the little drama, I've sold other air drop tokens and gotten 10x or more profit. That's not uncommon, but it seems to make you feel like a genius. And your character is such that you want to rub your "genius" in.

Until now we have to thank you for your work in communicating with the dev (although i'm a serious critic about him not showing up "in person"),  but now, if not even you can get any answer, i think it is time to loose all hope...
it is a pitty because this was a promising project
maybe some real dev grabs the project and get's it up and running

* there has been no massive sell off of the tokens which is in my book sure sign of dead project
* price on etherdelta has grown considerably without any reason (I bought some extra HOWL at prices of 350 and sold them at almost 2000 yesterday)
* there is often much more buy orders than sell orders (today it is about equal, but yesterday it was very much in favor of buy orders)

that sounds overly complicated. The dev holds all the undistributed coins. I don't know how many percent it is but he could simply have told us about a major announcement and the price would have spiked. He then could have dumped on us.
If he is really buying secretely that means he knows the price will go up because of good news in the future.

The explanation I chose to believe is that the dev is an over achiever and perfectionist. He will only resurface when he has a WP and a road map ready and everything else you need.
Still, this ongoing silence is hard to endure. I hope that when/if he comes back there will be more regular updates.

Reading these HOWL pages you can realize that we live in this surreal world of Messianic Expectatios - people become disciples of some new project which should make them all rich and happy and then the developer disappears and the long waiting begins.

"The Dev-Messiah will come back one day and keep his promise to make us all rich."
