Can devs please confirm that any semux traded over the forum will remain with the purchasers address, rather than the original address? Devs, if we buy beta coins from other users will they be transfered to main net?

Protocol is similar DPOS for Lisk while BFT for Semux. Lisk is using JS while Semux is using Java.

Guys I think I found a bug. I'm on the alpha reward list, I submitted my address, it said it sent funds, but my wallet does not show them.
0x57d3e8ebcdb071498643f95762f819d718eb2ccf
We're looking into this Hi neutronwave, this is because the pending transaction got lost when we reboot the server. We have manually sent 1000 SEM + 2000 SEM (our apologizes) to the your address. Thanks!

Hi, we confirm that coin migration will be based on the latest state of the chain, from now on. During beta test, the same rule will apply when we have to reset the network. If you're doing transfer tests, please send coins to addresses you own; otherwise, youll never get it back. Edit: based on this, you're free to trade, but please understand the risks: 1) this project is experimental and has high risk of failure; 2) trading without exchange is extremely unsafe.

This is not supposed to be a problem, but we haven't tested moving wallet file between different OS. Will get back to you after we complete the test. Edit: this issue can be traced at https://github.com/semuxproject/semux/issues/52

Hi, I know this is my first post here, but I have been watching this project from the Alpha and it looks great. Unfortunately I wanted to report an issue. I'm on Win10 and have not been able to connect to any peers since the latest Wallet (1.0.0-beta.2).
I get: 10/09 23:17:28 [main] INFO Config - Semux v1.0.0-beta.2 10/09 23:17:28 [main] INFO Config - System booting up: network = 0, coinbase = AnAddressIWouldLikeToClaimAlphaFaucetFromButCantAtTheMoment:) 10/09 23:17:29 [main] INFO Config - Latest block number = 0 10/09 23:17:39 [main] INFO NodeManager - Node manager started 10/09 23:17:39 [cons] INFO SemuxBFT - Consensus started 10/09 23:17:39 [cons] INFO SemuxBFT - Entered new_height: height = 1, # validators = 4 10/09 23:17:39 [p2p] INFO PeerServer - Starting peer server: address = 0.0.0.0:5161 10/09 23:17:40 [uPnP] INFO Config - Found a gateway device: local address = 192.168.0.13, external address = xx.yy.zz.nn
Is there any debug I can do to assist?

In config/simplerlogger.properties file, change org.slf4j.simpleLogger.log.org.semux.net=info to org.slf4j.simpleLogger.log.org.semux.net=debug It will show you more network debug info.

OK, did that: 10/09 23:44:47 [main] INFO Config - Semux v1.0.0-beta.2 10/09 23:44:47 [main] INFO Config - System booting up: network = 0, coinbase = 5d8e6dda4b7542865a529427ab89ec03d26fbfa9 10/09 23:44:48 [main] INFO Config - Latest block number = 0 10/09 23:44:58 [main] INFO NodeManager - Node manager started 10/09 23:44:58 [cons] INFO SemuxBFT - Consensus started 10/09 23:44:58 [cons] INFO SemuxBFT - Entered new_height: height = 1, # validators = 4 10/09 23:44:58 [p2p] INFO PeerServer - Starting peer server: address = 0.0.0.0:5161 10/09 23:44:59 [p2p] DEBUG PeerServer - Binding was sucessfully 10/09 23:45:02 [uPnP] INFO Config - Found a gateway device: local address = 192.168.0.13, external address = xx.yy.zz.71 Still no further progress Does it log anywhere else, or only to console? I also made sure my IP was in DMZ just in case there was something else going on, and uPNP is also enabled on router.

I should also say that I can see established connections to various IPs on port 443 (with only the Wallet running), so I'm guessing something is working, but no extra feedback in the console as to what. It feels like I'm on the wrong version of the Wallet.
Hi GMule, the semux wallet only uses 5161 for P2P protocol and 5171 for REST api. The home panel of the wallet will show how many peers you're connected to. Always make sure you computer time is properly synchronized. P.S. We've received several syncing issue reports since v1.0.0-beta.2. You're advised to join our discord channel for quicker response.
