I think that Semux is a very hopeful coin. JAVA and High Performance BFT Consensus Blockchain! It is very exciting! Is there any more airdrop in 2018? Merry Christmas!

Could someone explains what is new and fantastic about this coin?
I read the website and all I learned is its based on Java, and it's high performance.
It uses a new consensus mechanism called BFT and Semux's version of the algorithm is stupidly fast, able to do something like 10,000 transaction per block

Yes, it is a java-based project, and at this stage it looks like the main solution is the problem of the speed of blockchain transmission. The official launch roadmap and development plan will be introduced in January. I see you point. Sorry for being the devil advocate, but I have a few questions: 1) smart phones no longer support java. 2) could an application in a compiled language outperform Java? -bitblaster Android uses Java so porting there won't be that hard when time comes. As for iOS that will come as the need arises. We'll take it one step at a time. Good point. Also BFT is fairly lightweight and could run on a phone. These devs are thinking ahead.

I can not find myself among the participants, but last week I joined the signature company. What's wrong? or, perhaps, I made some mistakes when joining

this coin gonna be smth awesome, buy now )
it's good time to buy semux ,mainnet will launch Jan 2018 , will have VM and smart contracts , bright future ! VM and SC coming later 2018, but still on plan Completely new project, no rewrite, no clone. Just experience, new codebase and the very best consensus algorithm available Very excited about Semux. The software is very stable and fast, nice block explorers too. With 10,000 txs/sec + smart contracts, this is a serious contender solving real serious problems. To be exact the system is processing 5000 tx/block with 30s Blocktime. 166 tx/s actually. Still: first point of evaluation, 10.000 tx/block are not unrealistic until mid 2018 I find the way this consensus algorithm incentivizes transaction performance really fascinating. Regular PoW incentivizes brute force hashrate so I think the direction that Semux is moving in will be one many projects will take. Still curious to know what kind of block size limit there is. Anybody know how big the 5000 tx test blocks were? The block size is currently limited to 2MB. About ~9000 TXs can be processed each block under such limitation.

I am looking forward to seeing the launch of the mainnet! Are there any partners to use the semux Blockchain?

BTF consensus algorithm with transaction immutability after just 1 confirmation. High transaction throughput. Smart contracts coming next year. The fact is's Java is not really relevant.

It means 300 per second. Did we try and achieved that like we did with 5000tx or it is just a number we can reach for now?
