I think SEM should be developed as a commercial application chain, with high performance traffic, which makes it break through a lot of restrictions. For now, its performance is much better than other basic blockchain.

Below is the updated signature campaign rules as announced on Discord.

New BitcoinTalk Signature Campaign Rules:
1. The total amount is 300,000 SEM for three months, from Dec 4, 2017 to Feb 25, 2018;
2. Only BitcoinTalk users with Member or above rank are allowed to participate in this event;
3. You need to sign up once at https://goo.gl/forms/bVWnUSVDh4byCyWr2;
4. The rewards will be proportionally distributed to participants based on the following point system:
       Member: 1
       Full Member: 2
       Sr. Member: 4
       Hero Member: 8
       Legendary:  16
5. Multi-accounts/spam are not allowed. @Cloudpost will be the dedicated campaign manager. Everyone is encouraged to report any abuse;
6. You need to make at least 1 post per week (deleted posts won't count). It can be anywhere in the forum;
7. You can NOT take off the signature after you signing up;
8. We reserve the right the cancel this event or revise the rules at any time.

I do not think it's that fast to develop SEM should be more developed that performance for now if it can be neat or very neat new just to the next stage

They said mainnet to be launched 20th Jan 2018. Dude!! This is freaking scam i think. No documents, nothing. team doesn't respond at all. I would stay away if I were you.

The main net got launch on 20th of jan. it just happen that the thread got lock before it could be announce or posted on the thread, you should have gone to discord it was announce there.

The main network was launched successfully! Thanks to our contributors and community members. Looking ahead 2018, the dev team will focus on the following aspects:

1. Write more documents/wikis on how the system works;
2. Update our main website with new roadmap and ecosystem development plan;
3. Continue improving the Semux BFT consensus algorithm;
4. Research and develop the Semux virtual machine.

So at the time of the fork I held my BTCs on the Trezor but in many different addresses. Just after I consolidated my outputs. It would be a nightmare to sign every address holding BTC since I think I had about 150 addresses.

How do I claim in the easiest way?

Phenomenally smooth launch!  Really love how BFT works, the distribution of block rewards seems far superior to POS-based systems.  Way more evenly distributed than NXT/Ardor and XEM.  Rewards are always distributed among 100 different machines.  Network should be way stronger.

Really looking forward to the road ahead and the community evolving.  Need any help with anything, let us know!

the code is coded for this number so yes it's possible but only when all validators rent a serious server... pc home hardware and internet connection is not enought! :-)
