When semux increases the proportion of the air drop ratio, when the new round of bounty starts and when the POW mining mechanism is rewarded, this series is well worth looking forward to.

when all this happens.. semux price go to the ground... distribute coins without a good marketing strategy and comunication on social media.. is useless

n.b there are a lot of project born only with marketing strategy and without a real product  and they grew up.. semux has a good dev team always on work and a working (not full of course) product but it's not known and accordingly it does not grow...

stop distribute for nothing, its always the same who grab the coin and the mostly coins go to the chineses multi accounters
it's pretty simple, everybody knows you are a good dev but the marketing sucks
with the coins remaining hire a good promotor tw/fb and launch a social media campaign

when you see all thoses shitcoin copy/paste with a daily volume over 10 btc daily, you have to understand than with a good project like semux you can do better

exactly i see shitcoin copy past with only 33 pages on bitcointalk, with only a demo of the future product make 10 20 btc daily volume... and here we talking to distribute again free coins???...


for example me and other guys phash and other 2 i don't know personally, make the translate of wallet in time for the new release. but we get 0 semux.. i don't want nothing but this is not the right way ..use comunity coin for pay people who really make a contribution for this coins, translator, blogger, media, marketing twitter ect.... really dev team found a trust guy and delegate this stuff to him so you can work on code without problemes...

Why do you have to enter your password each time you start the wallet? It is kind of inconveniant.

Why do you have to enter your password each time you start the wallet? It is kind of inconveniant.

Its for added protection it is better this way rather than having a wallet that is unprotected, you can always ran your wallet and not close it if you have a private working station.

I think they just add articles and blogs campaign, quality articles will be more effective than social campaigns. Of course all the ads are good.

I agree about content campaigns. Social campaigns are mostly fake, but contents are something different.

A good content campaign would be perfect for semux.

I've noticed that now that the validator bug has been fixed, the current voting system has become a kind of race to the bottom. It looks like the best strategy for delegates is to have the least amount of votes while remaining a validator. This seems a less than optimum way to drive security and demand for semux.

An idea I've thought about is what would happen if instead of all the validators getting the same reward (i.e. block frequency), there were several levels. For example, if the 100 validator positions were divided into roughly thirds.

Level 1 (validators 71-100) could have the same setup as is used now, with any delegate capable of reaching at least the 100 position getting the same rewards as any other validator up to the 71st position. Having the same rewards across all positions in level 1 would maintain some stability at this lowest entry point level.

Level 2 (validators 30-70) would have rewards scaled (the fun level  ), so that 69 would get slightly more blocks than 70, and 68 slightly more than 69, and so on, up to position 30. This scaled reward would eliminate the race to the bottom in terms of votes. It would instead make it a race to the top, increasing security, and increasing demand for semux.

Level 3 (validators 1-30) would be similar to level 1, in that all the validators get the same reward, but unlike level 1 the uniform reward is equivalent to the highest reward achievable in level 2. Having the top level rewards the same would help prevent centralization of semux votes at the very top positions.

I know it's probably too late to change now, and I also may be blind to a fatal flaw in this kind of scenario. But, I think it's interesting to think about how this kind of setup could operate from a game theory perspective in a way to drive demand for semux instead of people trying to get the minimum amount of votes while remaining a validator.

I think that if Semux is trade by the big exchange, its price is around $ 10 is the most reasonable.

This is possible, so the project team is working hard to meet more and more excellent exchanges. Semux's future development is worth looking forward to.
