Scalability-focused and privacy-ensured cryptocurrency is really what we need. But I think blocktime 120 seconds is quite slow.
I think it should be 5-10 seconds.
There are some coins with block time < 5 seconds, and even with instant payment feature.

If you want to test it out and help us test it please build from this branch https://github.com/masari-project/masari/tree/uncle-mining (you can clone it with git clone -b uncle-mining https://github.com/masari-project/masari) and start up a node with ./masarid --stagenet --add-exclusive-node 34.234.4.255:58080 then start CPU mining
