Hello to all!
We all know that there are few blockchain-based social media platforms, the most famous is steem.

But what about cryptocurrency email service? I mean why there is now still this thing? So my mail will be only my and that's it. It amazing thing I think.

So?

I'm a soon-to-be graduated, Master in blockchain applications (it's kinda new, in terms of master degree), and we're doing kind of that.
Main idea is to kill the mail spam, because you have to pay a tiny fee to send a mail. It also secures the whole thing with PGP signatures thanks to the tremendous PoW power.

The fact that you came up with the idea makes me fear of direct competition !

Mail-related-coin Developpers, if you read this: time is running out ! If you just started coding, I think you can give up. We almost finished our alpha.

See you soon ! Cheesy

Lol, funny comment though. Never knew schools offer course on Blockchain. Wonder what school is that?
Do you really need to charge at all for sending emails with all the big companies doing it totally free.
You should probably think of other way of making money (like through ads or only charge power users/big companies?) than charging to send mere email. Blockchain email service looks like a good idea though.

What school offers a Masters in Blockchain?

Blockchain email may be interesting for something like enterprise environments. Spam is a problem, but I think social engineering/hacking is a bigger one for email; are there blockchain applications to mitigate that?

Please write here for extra advertisement, I'm very interesting in your project.

Regard to small payment for sending mail... you need to do something another. Or maybe if I will receive mails than I also will receive coins? Smiley))

This would be pretty nice, given it'd reduce spam to almost zero because of a small cost.

I remember reading a discussion about the same idea years ago, although not with blockchain technology. Charging 1 cent or a fraction of a cent to send an e-mail to immediately get rid of all the crap.

Has it been future now? I would never expect school to start teaching it now, nothing more i have to know for today, I have to be interested in this subject and start reading something.

Hello to all!
We all know that there are few blockchain-based social media platforms, the most famous is steem.

umm, as far as i know steem is just a simple website like any other (like reddit) which you can tip steem tokens on! unless i am mistaken that is not a blockchain-based social media in my opinion

But what about cryptocurrency email service? I mean why there is now still this thing? So my mail will be only my and that's it. It amazing thing I think.

So?
this is a more like it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitmessage
"a decentralized, encrypted, peer-to-peer, trustless communications protocol that can be used by one person to send encrypted messages to another person, or to multiple subscribers."

If you're looking for a secure form of communication then check out Crypvisor. They're going to release the app soon and list on the exchanges so it's a good time to get some cheap coins.

I think there is no email for a cryptocurrency for now, if does have then it maybe not make crypto transparent in every transaction or it can be trace!

I'm not talking about just classic blockchain technology. I'm talking about just something about like Monero - fully privacy system.
So we need same system but email. So nobody can go inside your mail, only you with 1 password.
So no google or yahoo can trace you or government!
