I hold my coins long enough. I chose the long-term concept, and I am taking investment for the next 3 years. hope for this when the coins I invest are growing. this will be an advantage for me.
You can hold Bitcoin if you have a strong faith in its future. But, remember all dicided today from you does not make feel regret in future if the price of Bitcoin drop down bellow the base price you have bought today. Remember that!

Investing or holding some coins is a risking thing. Now try to check your purpose on why you hold coins , You hold coins because you hoping that coin will increase the value , if the coin increase the value then I guess that also the time you must or need to let go and sell your coin to invest to other promising coin.

It all depends on what methods they make money. If you are trading on the stock exchange then everyone has their own strategy. Those who simply earn coins and use them for everyday life in the periods of the landfill do not sell them and wait for the price to recover. This is the best strategy for ordinary users.

I stay on the safe side, I don't wait for huge profits. I set my profit according to my need and when it reach to that profit level I sell my coins and I keep on monitoring market. But not for all coins, I hold coins who have big potential for long time..

I hold my coins until I feel that I do not hold this coin longer, because the price is going down. And must sell loss. Then buy a new coin that may go up. Bcause I'm small trader :v

It's depends on the potential of the coin . If it has a high potential , I'll hold it for long term , like several years. Otherwise I sell it for quick money as soon as it give me high returns .

Hi guys! if you trade, how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.
It depends on the coin potential. I had shadow token before and I was able to hold it for just 1 month. The market became stale and it just played from 1000 sats to 2000 sats for the whole month. So, when the token was selling for 2k sats I sold all of them, because I think the token was getting damped completely.

There are two types of trading. If you are a long run trader you invest every time market dump to you favorite coin and you hold for ever, well until you make the amount of money you want. If you are a short trader you buy when the market dump and sell when the market is going well. You need to watch coins all day and be a member in too many groups if you want to do this..

As of now I don't have any coins in hand yet but I'm here reading the posts so I could so get some techniques or strategies on how long I will hold my coins once I earned them. But in my own opinion I will definitely hold it until the price goes up since I know for the fact that at some cases the value of a coin will go down but some cases it will go up and once I see that the value is high - I'll definitely trade it!

Depending on how long you want the target, suppose I want to get a 2X profit, and the price goes up in the near future, of course I will immediately sell my coins

For my part, I have kept a part of my BTC stash untouched for more than 5 years (purchased at less than $10 per coin in 2012). But I have never kept any of the altcoins (I had Litecoin, Ethereum, Stellar Lumens, BitCore, Byteball, Blackbytes, Namecoin, Freicoin, Quark, Terracoin, and at least 20 other alts) for more than 6 months.

Depends on the coin. I've held ICN since its ICO in September 2016. I ditched Synereo after about a week when their team started cracking apart.
You should really have an idea in your ahead about valuation, and from there sell if you think something is overvalued, hold if you think it's undervalued. Simple as that. Well except for the valuation part. That's f'ing hard. If that doesn't work for you, just buy some BLX from iconomi.net

Hi guys! if you trade, how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.
It depends which coin are you referring to. Some coins are worth holding for a long time like eth, waves, bitcoin and a lot more. It really depends on the potential and its investors. Some of the coins I got from campaigns, I usually hold them for a week or two. Whenever I think it will not grow higher I sell them right away.

Every ppl has a different strategy, but most often should be looking at the projects, their upcoming update etc good enough to make a decision. I would suggest that, Research over the whitepaper in projects that are solid and fairly well established.
