This will be good if that is happen but im think $1000 is hard to reach for this year , but im sured that Ethereum will reach $450 on this year.

ethereum is strugelling very hard to keep the current price up. and it is barely doing just that hardly above $300
the Chinese ICO ban was a big hit and we will see the real effects in the long term specially as ICO hype is slowly dying off and only a couple of ICOs that are good will remain.

on top of it many speculators believe that changing to PoS will hurt ETH a lot more than anything else in the long run.

more than 3x rise is simple impossible for this. not even their pumpers can do it.

ETH is definitely not reaching $1000 this year.It makes much more sense to say Bitcoin reaching $10,000 by the end of this year.With the statistics provided by ETH since the last month or two,I must say the coin isn't doing very great at the moment.People are dumping ETH and investing in bitcoin again since coin hasn't climbed the charts since forever.

Its possible considering the fact that a lot of companies are using its platform but tis will be a very hallenging one if ever. They have to double their effort since eth is still a long way up and its quite a tough competition in the crypto world.

We are rapidly running out of 2017 and I do not think the remaining 3+ months will be enough time for Ethereum to reach the lofty $1,000 mark. If you had said $500, I would have perhaps believed it more, but as others have posted right now Ethereum is struggling to stay in the $300 range, much less push back and grow past the $400 area which would be a first step needed to launch any sustained push higher.

With the current ICO crackdown and the uncertainty going forward with the eventual switch to PoS, I do not see ETH going to $1,000 anytime soon. Maybe this outlook will change as we get into 2018, but for now there is just too much uncertainty in the market to fuel the growth needed for such an aggressive high. I think a lot of people buying in this late in the game are setting themselves up for a big disappointment thinking ETH can just forever keep going up without pausing and even losing some ground. Myself, I think we have a better change of seeing ETH hit under $200 again before we see it touch $1,000.

ETH is a good coin as mentioned above. The only way its going to get to the 1000$ mark is if BTC is at the 10,000$ mark.

The last line what you said may be it is right. Because the Bitcoin price is also increased based on this method. Before hitting one big margin first, it went down, and suddenly it came up. So, in the same way, ETH is also growing. Let's see where ETH price will go and stop at this year end. I also doubt that this will hit this target or not because this market is unpredictable.

If ethereum would be $1000 in this i might be so happy because i have so many ethereum holdings that can be seriously doubled just so easy my money. In fact i think it wouldn't happen because of what bitcoin taking the momentum and getting ethereum investors go to bitcoin

I don't think this could happen by the end of the year. ETH will maybe accomplish $1k next year; it's just unrealistic in just a few months. But, market is so unpredictable so who knows what's going to happen
