ETH is very good coin after BTC in history of cryptocurrency .i guess it will touch 1000$ in coming few months
ETH will go up, but unlikely hit $1000 in the coming few months. Maybe $600. Agree I don't think also that Ethereum will hit $1,000 by the end of the year maybe the highest will $400 and that's just it. Not unless Vitalik will release something very interesting. Correct. Unless Ethereum releases something that can scale, it won't go to $1,000. If they do, then it will go past $1,000. |

I think $1000 is a bit of a stretch, I think more realistically speaking it could be $600ish by the end of the year. I guess we will see what happens after Metropolis.

we dont have any big update coming and segwit 2x maybe make bitcoin price fall down so hard to reach 1000$

I dont think that Ethereum will reach 1000$ by end of this year 2017. Mybe its Posible to touch more than 600$ this year

By the end of this year, ETH price could be hit $400+, I can guess. Reach $1000 or over so far thinking right now. Let's see what will happen in the next month as Ethereum fork is placed.

It would be a big surprise for me if it somehow reaches that numbers. I don't see a reason for ethereum to have 3x in only 3 months.

There's coins that will x5-10 and more that aren't junk. It just takes significant amounts of work to successfully identify them and to prepare a hedging strategy. Also, Buffet makes around 20% a year consistently. It's not that rare of a number. The average stocks move by around 8-12% already. Either way, to each their own. There's different strategies for different people, just don't fool yourself into believing that going all in on a single "safe" asset is the best way to invest. It never is. |

What products though? I don't think I've read about anything groundbreaking coming from Ethereum in the near future. The last big news that I recall was the EEA, which just as well could be merely researching the potentials of the Ethereum blockchain while completely ignoring Ethereum itself. |

Super long term I see $10,000 ETH and $100,000 BTC, but $1,000 might be a reach for this year alone. By the end of next year I would not be surprised to see ETH hitting 2k though.

Even with a bullish market, the most Eth can hit by the end of the year is maybe $450 tops. I predict though it is around somewhere in the margin of $375 to $405. If Eth somehow hits $1000, we will then see bitcoin soar to somewhere around $7000 to $9000. With the current situation we are in, I do not think Eth has what it takes to hit $1000 by the end of the year.

Don't think that Eth will reach that value this year. It's still early, i think that the ath of 400 will resist for 6 more months. Eth could reach 1000 at the end of 2018, if nothing bad happens. The next hard fork + the Pos swith + raiden etc shluld guarantee an increase of value in the long run
