So ETH finally reached $300 mark yet again, but compared to the previous marks from two and three months ago, it is still behind the gains that Bitcoin made. Seeing as this recent heights is yet again determined by Bitcoin's recovery, I really can't see a good immediate future for ETH price. And now it is only weeks or months away from this "ice age", I wonder if winter is coming for Ethereum. $400 I agree is the realistic hope, $1,000 is not just overly optimistic, it's unachieveable for 2017.

If everything went good with market and there is no negative news popping out as happened in September, then yes ETH could reach $500-$600, but not more that. ETH has real utility because of smart contract feature and thus I believe it will touch heights in future but the growth will be gradual.

Yes, It's quite far thinking. And only if it breaks the resistance at $400. Unfortunately, it seems hard even to stay at 320 USD. If it really gains, it gains slowly until 17th October I think.

ETH is a very nice coin. It is called as bitcoin's rival because it threatens bitcoin on last years or months. Also, it is a top coin on last years or months but for today's update, ETH's price became lower and lower. If we are expecting that ETH will reach $1000 in ending of this year, we are just like expecting that we will see unicorns on our yard. I mean, it is impossible that ETH will be priced $1000 in ending of this year because as today's ETH's price in dollars, it is very far to reach $1000. Ethereum is the only altcoin that has some potential to grow but it does not increase its value at a very fast speed. It is going to take more than three months in order to touch 1k dollars. However, none of the digital currency is as powerful as bitcoin. The further someone investigates about bitcoin, the more he will love this asset. Why not? if btc can reach to 10k USD, eth may be reach till 1000 USD. Anything is possible in crypto world. But first we are going to see what is going to happen after this fork issue. If it does not effect the prices so much, a new bullish trend is going to start for sure.

There is no way ethereum will touch $1000 this year. The banning and regulation being enforced on ICOs by various governments will only weaken it. We will be lucky to see $500.
